Chapter 318 - Chapter 318: Van, Forgive Me, This Is the Last Time!

After changing clothes, Van had just walked out of the changing room when several staff members dressed in resort uniforms stopped him.

"Excuse me, are you Mr. Van?" The leading woman bowed respectfully. "Regarding the mysterious grand prize you previously drew, we now need you to provide some additional personal information for the procedure."

Only then did Van remember the matter about that villa.

He nodded and followed the staff to a seaside office.

The staff handed him a stack of documents. "Please wait a moment, the person in charge will be here shortly."

Van had just finished filling out the forms when the office door was pushed open.

Pardofelis walked in, surrounded by several bodyguards.

"Well, well, isn't this our lucky guest~" Pardofelis sat down with a bright smile. "So, how's the vacation at our resort? Having fun?"

Van replied, "Not bad, the environment is very nice."

"That's good, that's good~" Pardofelis said. "Um... the girls who came with you, are they also having fun?"

"Of course, they're having a great time." Van smiled.

A flicker of complicated emotion flashed in Pardofelis's eyes.

She wanted to reveal herself directly, but when she recalled the scene from this morning, those women surrounding Van, she couldn't help but shiver.

"Speaking of which, you all... have a really good relationship..." Pardofelis's voice grew quieter and quieter, almost like she was muttering to herself.

"After all, we're very close friends." Van probed, "Would you like me to introduce them to you?"

"Ah? No, no need!" Pardofelis waved her hands quickly. "I was just saying casually... Um, the documents are all signed, right? The villa procedures should be completed in a few days..."

"Alright, thank you for the trouble." Van stood up, preparing to leave. "If there's nothing else, I'll head out first."

Pardofelis froze when she heard that, her lips parting as if she wanted to say something, but in the end she forced out a professional smile,

"Mm, alright. Goodbye, and I wish you a pleasant time at our resort."

It wasn't until the office door closed that Pardofelis slumped her shoulders as if deflated, muttering softly to herself, "After not seeing each other for so long, at least... stay a little longer..."

———

Back on the beach, Van could already see Kiana standing on a surfboard, shouting noisily, with Raiden Mei at her side, watching over her.

Elysia and Eden were lying on beach chairs sipping juice, while Aponia and the others were in the shallows, teaching Griseo how to build sandcastles.

"Yo, old man~" Ivana suddenly popped out of nowhere, hooking an arm around his neck. "Where did you sneak off to just now?"

Van shrugged. "Went to buy a villa."

"What?!" Ivana clutched his mouth in exaggerated shock, his voice so loud it echoed across the whole beach. "You finally came around! This time you're going to capture them all in one go, huh!"

Kiana lost her balance and fell straight off the surfboard, Raiden Mei's face instantly turned red, and even from afar, Elysia shot them a meaningful glance.

Van smacked his forehead and tapped Ivana on the head. "You little brat, don't go saying things that'll make people misunderstand!"

"Aw~ what's there to be shy about~" Ivana grinned mischievously, tightening his arm. "Remember to save me a room when the time comes, I want the biggest one!"

The sound of waves blended with bursts of laughter.

Van looked at the lively scene before him, an unconscious smile lifting on his face.

But soon after, he suddenly remembered something and looked around.

Speaking of which, since morning, he hadn't seen Mobius anywhere.

Logically, no matter what kind of 'talk' it was, it should have ended by now. Unless... Mobius had done something else to Vill-V.

Thinking of this, Van couldn't help but feel a chill of worry for Vill-V.

'With Mobius's personality, could it be that she really dismantled Vill-V for an experiment?'

———

[In a Hidden Room of the Resort]

Mobius, arms crossed, looked at Vill-V with a subtle expression. "Are you sure the method you just mentioned will actually work?"

Hearing this, Vill-V confidently declared, "Trust me, Mobius! According to my calculations, the success rate of this plan is at least seventy percent!"

"..."

Mobius lowered her head in thought, her fingers unconsciously tapping against her arm.

After a moment, she suddenly raised her head, determination flashing in her eyes.

Seeing Mobius's expression, Vill-V couldn't help but swallow nervously.

In her heart, she silently mourned for Van.

'Van, forgive me, this is the last time!'
