Chapter 10 - 10 End

[Love Potion] - 500,000 Berries / 500 CPs

A potion that allows its consumer to fall in love with the user.

"How the world have changed if I had this back in the day!"

Sakura scoffed, a bitter taste remaining on the back of his tongue. "It's an otaku's dream"

Berries: 277,000

He swiped it away in regret to check the rest of the items in the daily shop.

[Meta-Cola Production Unit x5] 100,000 Berries / 100 CPs

A unit that automatically produces 30 Meta-Cola a day.

"I don't need it,"

Sakura lied, desperately turning his head away, sweat beading on his brow. His wallet screamed in protest—Yet, his finger betrayed it anyway.

277,000 -> 177,000.

"Aaah~, I've done it...! I made a huge mistake!" Sakura screamed in a small voice, hugging the production unit like it was Ralts before she was born.

Sakura missed the day when he was still a millionaire but there was nothing he could do.

The Meta-Cola production units resembled the shape of a miniature refrigerator that was bigger inside than it looked.

After placing the miniature production unit behind his desk, he opened the production unit.

Although the production unit resembled a small refrigerator, the space inside was as huge as the regular one. Thirty cola(s) were being produced but there was still a capacity to place objects.

'Still, the future is really, magical' Sakura thought not only because of the production unit, now called refrigerator, but because of the production of Meta-Cola.

The refrigerator generated cola from the glass container to the liquid.

Out of nothing. Or was it using something Sakura couldn't see? Sakura didn't know how the production unit worked.

"I wonder how they managed to do this," Sakura thought as he unwillingly closed the refrigerator. The cola still wasn't done.

To kill some time since neither his regulars (Roja & the parents-daughter duo) hadn't arrived, Sakura checked the skill he received.

[Law Of Programs.] Lv.1

Passive Skill -

Years 2017, humanity discovered a 'bug' in reality.

For example; if you pressed the vending machine in Japan, Nagoya XX-XXX, in order of: 1. Cola - 2. Lemon Tea - 3. Milk Tea - 4. Cola - 5. Pepsi, a bird's poop would always land seven meters away.

For example; If you dance to an idol song naked in public, you would be able to return to any point of time you want to…

A famous scientist researched the reasoning behind this, and eventually 'hacked' into reality.

That famous scientist called this [Law Of Programs] theory, turning the impossible into possible.

Learning Law Of Programs requires special certifications and unauthorized use of it could take you up to 100 years of medieval torture simulations.

"I don't get it well but this is probably the reason why I can see those weird symbols," Sakura tilted his head.

He couldn't read the weird symbol nor it existed to be read, but he could understand it and what they did.

"Whatever, let's level up it for now. It looks important,"

Sakura wasn't the type to save his attribute points when playing an RPG game

He used the only allocatable skill point he had to level up the Law Of Programs.

Instantly, Sakura's perception changed into that of more compact and informative. He also understood more of what he could do now.

Sakura looked inside his body to test it out. "Ah, there it is."

What he looked into precisely, was the 'Devil Fruit' factors in his body. Snatching a single piece of 'code', he deleted it.

Within a moment of instant, a chain reaction occurred inside his body. Values, concepts, and reasoning interchanged at alarming speed.

"Shi-..."

*BOOOOOM*

His ribs splintered first—white-hot pain spiderwebbing outward. Then his skin split like overripe fruit, painting the walls in a single, grotesque red.

"Ralts…? Ralts!!!"

Ralts who was asleep was surprised at the sudden sound but was terrorized at the sight of Sakura.

"Ralts!… Ralts!…" Ralts twiddled Sakura's body which refused to move. Slowly, tears began filling her eyes as she rushed outside for help.

"Ralts…!" Spotting Carol with Daddy, Ralts lunged at her, pulling her inside the Internet Cafe.

"Ralts what's wrong?" Ralts's anxiety told Carol that something was wrong.

Carol's questions were answered quickly as they entered the red room.

"What is going on here!!" Before she could take a full look, Daddy covered Carol's eyes and carried Sakura's body to the local hospital.

"Young man, how did this occur to you…!" Daddy said sweat dripping down as he carried Sakura's body up.

He couldn't believe a person capable of hurting Logia Fruit Users aside—Smoker existed—in this town.

Plus, Smoker weren't the type to harm random citizens.

They ran to the nearest medical clinic.

The doctor taking a smoke break outside spotted the four. "Mh?! What happened to that young man!? Quickly take him to the medical room!"

Inside the medical room, the doctor examined Sakura with his equipment and was shocked at the result.

"It's as if an explosion had undergone from inside his body!"

"Is it really that bad?"

Daddy's jaw clenched, unconsciously maintaining his perfectly fine guns.

Through the help of the young lad's computer, Carol's life had become to that of something more fun. If the young man died, it'd sadden his daughter.

The doctor replied to Daddy Masterson's question. "Lungs—punctured. Liver—shredded. The heart looks like swiss cheese. How in the sun god is he still alive."

"Unfortunately, with my skills, there's nothing I can do but preserve his life. Do any of you know which blood type this young man is?"

"Ralts!" Ralts replied using her telekinetic to draw an "F"

"What a smart creature," the doctor said nodding at Ralts before taking out the blood pack.

Then, he inserted the lube into Sakura's body. Although this couldn't save him, it was better than doing nothing. All they could do was hope for a miracle.

"Ralts…" Ralts softly cried as she looked at Sakura. His injury had opened again, painting the bandage wrapped around him red.

...

Days blurred by. Ralts curled into Sakura's cot, her tiny fists clutching his bloodstained shirt.

The nurses whispered: "It's been a week…"

Ralts didn't listen. Using telekinesis to support his weak body. However, not a single muscle moved.

Even if Ralts' body visibly slimmed over days. Sakura refused to wake up. As if Sakura truly died.

Something Ralts would never accept.
