Finally it's that time, the main event, the final showdown, the last game of our sports event, and trust me it's gonna get heated up pretty quick.
The next and final match for the day for the sports week was the watergun showdown.
The participants for the match were:
The White Tigers:
Liabilities
Jangla
Tsunami
William
Oppa
The Red Beans:
Sam
Roslin
Flower
Chingla
Preguy
Now that all the key players of the event are back from their hiatus of a few chapters due to having to wash up the mud after falling into the mud pool Sam created.
Now that the players have returned, let's explain the details of the game. In this match, the players will be given a special dartboard with an assigned nametag which is their lifeline, and they have to protect it by all means possible. When someone hits their target (dartboard), he/she will be eliminated. The players can place the tag anywhere they want.
The goal is to eliminate everyone on the opposite team or to survive a time limit of 40 minutes, and all the remaining players will get 100 points each.
This match was more or less like a nerf shooting game, but instead of bullets, it was water. Why, you ask? Well, because the game is gonna be so heated that they will need water to cool down.
There were 10 participants, 2 teams, 10 targets, and 2 sides… or was it?
The match was about to start, so everyone spread out, taking their own separate positions. No one knows who was where, and no one knew who they'll encounter—friend or foe—and no one knew where others have placed their dartboards, so they couldn't shoot aimlessly without knowing the exact spot, for they only had limited refills. It was gonna be a survival hunt.
After a while, the bell for the game started, and everyone started running, searching for someone, and in their pursuit, they made contact with each other. Roslin encountered Jangla. It hadn't even been a minute into the game, and the powerhouses have already met each other.
They pointed their water guns at each other. The crowd cheered at them, wondering who will eliminate who. Jangla quickly scanned Roslin and found out the tag to be on her right shoulder.
Roslin didn't have to scan anything for Jangla, as she had her tag placed right on her forehead. Jangla, we know your forehead is big enough for two airplanes to land safely, but it is basically begging for a headshot.
The crowd anticipated that Jangla would be eliminated first due to her easy spot, but what happened next no one could have anticipated.
Both of them overlooked each other and continued moving to different spots, almost like they were coordinating with each other and searching for something else… or maybe someone else.
This unexpected thing seemed to be happening with every player. No one was attacking each other, and they were all going past each other without attacking anyone, almost like they were in a total alliance with each other.
Jangla then broke the silence and told Roslin, "Once we find him, whoever gets him first will take him out without mercy, and then we will continue our match next."
Roslin nodded in total agreement, saying, "We can tear each other later after we settle our score with him."
Jangla shouted, "We'll get back at you for whatever you did to us! Do you hear, Sam?"
Now it's both surprising and not surprising to anyone, with both teams having fallen to Sam in a previous match of tug of war, it wasn't far fetch that everyone wanted a piece of him—both his enemies and his own team wanted to teach him a lesson.
It seems that through the common desire to crush Sam, there has been an internal change within the teams. The two teams had a secret agreement to keep a hold on attacking each other once in the battlefield, and they'll all focus on targeting Sam first.
On the surface, it seemed like there were two equal teams—that is, White Tigers and Red Beans—but at the core, there were two teams united on one side and Sam by himself on the other.
Although Sam was completely oblivious to the alliance between the two teams. Is the new alliance gonna be too much for Sam to handle, or will Sam stand tall at the end?

Meanwhile on Sam's side…
"krrk!" (something cracked)
"OH NO!" Sam exclaimed, worried, but then seconds later he was calm, almost like nothing happened. The bell rang at that very moment, and the game started.
Sam flinched, saying he wasn't ready at all. He then looked outside and saw Roslin taking small steps, being cautious, and that instant he saw Tsunami following her from behind.
He thought Tsunami was trying to ambush Roslin, so he picked up his water gun and ran towards them slowly, trying to keep himself stealth but also as quick as possible.
Sam knew even if he rushed to help, he wouldn't have any advantage unless he knew where her tag was and shot exactly to avoid wasting water ammo.
In order to gain the upper hand, he first tried to analyze where her tag was and to shoot in silence. After waiting a while, Sam realized that Tsunami had her tag on her knees. After finally finding an advantage, he tried to silently shoot Tsunami, but something unfortunate happened.
Someone shot him from behind. It was a miss, but when Sam found out who shot him, he was totally confused.
Flower had the first shot at Sam and tried to shoot multiple times aimlessly without first finding out where he placed his tag. Sam tried to explain that she's shooting the wrong target and they are on the same team instead she has to shoot Tsunami because she is going to target Roslin soon.
Flower then calmly told him, "I'm not shooting the wrong target. I'm shooting the only correct target, and don't worry about Roslin and Tsunami."
Sam, confused, asked, "What do you mean by that?"
More shots from another direction hit him. It was Roslin and Tsunami trying to hit him together.
"What are you two doing?" Sam asked, really confused.
"Hitting our target," they both replied.
Now with three people shooting at Sam, he didn't know what to do, so he tried to make an escape—but Jangla came up straight to his face out of nowhere like a terrifying final boss. It wasn't only them—everyone was against him, and Sam was all alone.
He was completely surrounded, all the guns pointing at him. Although they didn't know where his tag was, Jangla spoke like the final boss, saying, "Where is your tag?"
Before Sam could even reply, Jangla interrupted him, saying, "Well, it doesn't matter. When everyone shoots you from every direction, you'll get completely drenched, and it won't matter where your tag is—you'll still be eliminated."
"This is the end for you, Sam. Sorry, but we'll completely crush you when we eliminate you from this match first and repay whatever you did to us before. You won't get the win anymore."
Sam quickly realized what was happening and why they weren't shooting each other but rather focusing on him alone—it was all to fulfill vengeance.
"I see… so this is what it's all about. Vengeance, huh? You're trying to stop me from getting the glory by stopping me! But aren't you guys just giving me more of it by ganging up on me? Even if I lose, I'll be eliminated by the combined strength of 9 players, which means I'm the real threat here."
Jangla smiled, saying, "It doesn't matter if we're stopping you or giving you the glory. What matters to us is that you don't have the final laugh on our watch. And what do you mean even if you lose? There is no way you're getting out of this situation."
"Wrong. I can," Sam smirked, and quickly removed the tag from Jangla's forehead, shot it with water, and rubbed it with his sleeve to make it shine bright, creating a flash grenade from her forehead.
Everyone was momentarily blinded by the brightness, and using this moment, Sam quickly tried to escape and came in between of Chingla who had her tag in her chest and William who had his tag in his stomach, both tried to shoot Sam but he ducked at the right moment and they ended up shooting each other during the commotion.
The crowd started cheering as things got interesting. They were expecting just a simple brawl between two teams, but they weren't ready for betrayal, alliance, vengeance, survival, and close escapes. Things were really getting heated over a simple match of water gun.
The effect of the flash didn't last long, but during that time Sam had already eliminated two players—Chingla from his own team and William from the White Tigers.
Now it was 7 vs 1. The numbers closed down a little, but they still had an unfair advantage over Sam.
Chingla and William, after their elimination, quietly exited the game, and their teams assured that they would avenge them.
Jangla, frustrated with what just happened, quickly picked up her tag from the ground. Sam must have forgotten and dropped it when making his escape.
Jangla said, "Not eliminating me earlier when you had the chance was the biggest mistake you could have made, and you'll regret it. I'll be the one to eliminate you."
