Warm light streamed through the canopy of flower-petaled walls as the two divine attendants glided closer to the newborn fairy nestled in the moonflower cradle.
Lirael, glowing like dawn itself, let out a small gasp, her hand covering her heart."Oh little one…" she whispered,
Sylphine's silvery wings trembled slightly as she leaned in, her eyes shimmering with the quiet awe of someone witnessing a miracle.
"She's… she's so beautiful," Sylphine said softly, brushing a lock of glowing vine-hair behind her ear.
"And yet… she radiates divine light."Lirael nodded, tears beginning to gather in her crystalline eyes.
"The prophecy was true. She is the one. Look at her… even asleep, her spirit sings."
Aurelle, though barely days old, stirred in the cradle.
Her tiny wings fluttered instinctively, like a butterfly waking in spring. She yawned—an impossibly cute, high-pitched sound –and her sparkly fingers curled toward the sky.
The two fairies gasped again, this time giggling like proud sisters seeing a baby niece.
"She's glowing! Did you see that?" Lirael beamed. "She just glowed when she yawned!"
"Oh Moon's mercy, she's the most beautiful little thing I've ever seen."
"Like an angel woven from moonlight and laughter."
"She's more than that, Sylphine," Lirael said, kneeling gently beside the moonflower cradle.
"She's hope. She's the light born from sorrow. The goddess's heir… and our future.
The flower cradle responded to their presence, unfurling its petals a little more to welcome them. Soft pink pollen shimmered in the air as if the chamber itself recognized their devotion.
They hovered just above her, wings flitting with reverent care, and finally—after a moment of silent communion—they reached down with glowing hands.
"May I?" Lirael whispered, glancing toward Sylphine. Sylphine nodded, her voice catching.
As the fairy reached for her, Aurelle's eyes welled up.
"What now?!"
The fairy then grabbed my hand and yanked me upright. I wobbled. The wings behind me fluttered and nearly flipped me upside down.
Aurelle then cried out within her "Get your f**kin hands off me, you goddamn fairy!" She whined turning away from the guardian fairy who was about to carry her.
"Ohh little angel, don't be scared, you are in safe hands now.
"Time to meet the Queen Mother," "Queen mother has been longing to see you", she said with a slight grin. "You're her divine successor, after all!"
'Wait. Successor? Divine what?
"Who decided this?" Aurelle lamented within her.
But neither could she speak out nor complain, the fairy only caressed her hair teasing her so she could be carried.
And so, the divine attendant reached down and carefully lifted baby Aurelle from her petal-silk bed.
Suddenly, the giant flower-bed she was lying in shifted. The petals folded inward slightly, then bloomed again with a puff of glitter.
Her glowing body fit perfectly in her arms so light, so fragile, yet brimming with power.
Her silver eyes fluttered open, wide and innocent, staring up at them as though recognizing something ancient.
"She sees us…" Sylphine murmured."Of course she does,"
Lirael replied, her voice trembling. "She's the reborn soul… she remembers everything and nothing."
Meanwhile in the mind of Aurelle, she could hear and understand everything they were saying but there was no way she could respond to them because she was still a baby.
She only kept staring at them and putting on a fake smile on her face.
Then came a sudden warmth.
The flower chamber responded to her awakening, releasing a pulse of golden mist that trailed behind them as they flew from the cradle room, carrying her between them.
"Ahh… I never felt this good before in my life!"she thought.
"It's as if my body became really light, so light…like I am flying."
The journey through the Hartgrove Palace was like floating through a living dream.
Giant lilies pulsed with magic, pathways of glittering pollen lit their way, and the branches above them curled to form arches as they passed.
All along the way, fairies stopped what they were doing to gaze in awe. Whispers followed:"Is that the heir?"
"She's beautiful…"She's glowing!", "She's here"… the prophecy is real…"Some bowed, others cried quietly.
A few offered flowers, and even the tree spirits leaned closer to see.Sylphine smiled gently. "The whole forest is awakening for her.""She's the dawn we waited for," Lirael agreed.
At the end of the path stood a massive set of woven vine doors, lined with moonstones and glittering crystals.
The fairy guards opened on their own, petals folding back to reveal the Throne Bloom—the sacred sanctum of the Mother Goddess herself.
And there, upon a floating throne of silver leaves and radiant blossoms, sat the Fairy Mother Goddess called Lysara.
Her eyes were twin galaxies. Her hair cascaded down like waterfalls of living ivy, and her wings spread out like an eclipse of stars.
Time itself seemed to pause in reverence as her gaze fell upon the child they carried."She has arrived," Lysara said softly. Her voice was both thunder and lullaby. "My daughter. My legacy."
The moment they placed Aurelle in her arms, the entire palace seemed to sigh. Light rippled through the air, and flowers bloomed in places they hadn't bloomed in centuries.
Lysara cradled her gently, pressing a soft kiss to Aurelle's forehead.
The baby fairy cooed, and for the first time, smiled."My little light… you were born from sorrow, but you will shine with joy."Tears welled in her divine eyes.
"Do you remember, my darling? The pain? The hunger? The loneliness?" she whispered."But now… you are here. Loved. Watched over. Protected."
Then she raised her glowing hand and summoned a beam of pure moonlight that pierced the ceiling and bathed Aurelle in divine radiance.
I bless you now,"Lysara intoned. "With light, with life, with destiny. May your wings never falter.
"May your soul never break and May your heart always remember that even in darkness… you were born to shine."
A silver sigil appeared above Aurelle's chest—a blooming flower within a crescent moon—and sank into her skin with a gentle hum.

The light faded slowly, and Aurelle reached up, touching Lysara's cheek with her tiny glowing hand."She sees you," Lirael whispered."
She knows who you are," Sylphine added.Lysara smiled, pressing her forehead to Aurelle's.
"And I know who you are, my little one. You are Aurelle now… but I see the echoes of who you once were. You were once a girl named Elyn, the girl who suffered. The girl who endured.
You have crossed the veil and come through rebirth. "Aurelle blinked slowly, her silver eyes sparkling in surprise about what queen mother said.
"How does she know about my past life" she thought.
Suddenly, she yawned again, and Lysara chuckled—bright and melodic. "Oh, my starlight… still sleepy?"
"She's still a baby," Sylphine giggled.
"She's our little goddess," Lirael corrected, laughing softly. "But also… yes, she's a sleepy baby."
Then the goddess rose from her throne, carrying Aurelle in her arms, and addressed the gathering of fairies who had quietly assembled in the chamber.
"Today," she declared, "marks the dawn of a new era."The air shimmered with magic.
"Let it be known—Aurelle, Daughter of Light, Heir of Bloom, Reborn Soul of the Forgotten, has returned to us.
"The crowd bowed in unison, wings spread in homage.Aurelle sneezed.Sparkles exploded everywhere.
Everyone laughed.
As the celestial light bathed the sacred glade, the Mother Goddess, Luminae, stood tall, her presence radiating an aura of profound serenity and power.
Her eyes, shimmering with the wisdom of ages, gazed upon Aurelle with a mixture of love and solemnity.
"Oh yes. She's definitely my daughter,"
Luminae whispered, her voice resonating like a gentle breeze through chimes.
"She is the one… the chosen soul to be reborn."
The heir to the Divine Grove shall rise again."
Raising her intricately carved wand—crafted from ancient elderwood and inlaid with glistening moonstone.
Luminae began to chant an incantation in the ancient tongue of the fairies. The words flowed melodiously, weaving through the air like a symphony of magic.
As the final words left her lips, a brilliant bolt of lightning descended from the heavens, striking the tip of her wand with a resounding thunderclap.
The energy coursed through the wand, illuminating it with a radiant glow.
Turning to Aurelle, Luminae extended the wand towards her, the light transferring from the wand to envelop Aurelle in a cocoon of luminescence.
"I bestow upon you my strength, my wisdom, and the essence of the Divine Grove," Luminae declared, her voice echoing with divine authority.
"May your wings carry you to great heights, and your heart remain pure and steadfast."
As the light faded, Aurelle felt a surge of power within her—a connection to the very fabric of the Fairy Realm.
She looked up at Luminae, her eyes filled with awe and determination, ready to embrace her destiny as the heir to the Divine grove.
