"If it's just for sightseeing, then I would bring you at noon because the temperature would be a bit warmer," the Masked Alpha agreed. His tone was as gentle as ever, making her unsure of his next move.
She began to fidget uncomfortably. The only reason she could think of as to why he brought her here was because he got into a rut, and maybe wanted to turn her into his concubine.
She might have admired him so much—which was quite a normal thing to do—since all female wolves would love to have a mate who was both strong and responsible. They wanted to have the best qualities for their cubs, after all.
But fate was a strange thing.
She admired him, but since he wasn't her fated one, she still wouldn't mate with him.
