"Where are you, my love? Are you running away from me after thousands of years?" the Masked Alpha lamented. "I don't want you to keep dying like this. That's why I keep searching for a way to stop your death. So please, come to me quickly before you reach twenty-one."
The Masked Alpha knew there was no point in saying this, but this was his way to ease his burden, as nobody in this world understood his suffering more than himself.
"My love, please show up soon. It's getting more and more difficult for me, because of Odette…" the Masked Alpha confessed. He knew he was wrong for feeling this way, but Odette made it too difficult for him to keep searching. Deep down, his instinct told him to stop the search and settle with Odette instead.
The Masked Alpha knew that he was deluding himself with that idea.
