Chapter 58 - Ch 58 Time to recover!

Rudra followed him inside the shed to notice it was only a small cozy wooden cabin with a few utensils kept in the corner and a bed made of smooth and silk like tree leaves in a corner. Rudra laid down as Arsh opened his wound and washed it carefully with the boiled decoction he had prepared in the vessel.

Acharya instructed Musha to carefully hold Rudra's leg while he washed his wounds. After that Arsh carefully rubs his upper calf and lower thigh near the sound with herbal oil, sedating the surrounding nerves through massage. After that Arsh takes out a small bottle filled with a special liquid. Arsh brought the bottle closer to Rudra's mouth.

"This is a potion that will make you sleepy, preventing you to feel most of the pain while I operate."

"However, be careful, don't fall unconscious, or this can have side effects," Arsh said as he gently poured a few drops of that potion into Rudra's mouth.

After that Arsh took out a small sharp metallic blade and heated it's tip on the fire for a few minutes before coming back in. He used the heated blade to cut the damaged skin, however the hardest part was when he had to use his spiritual glimpsing ability to get a peak at Rudra's inner injury every time he did even the slightest of movement with the blade.

He cut out the outer damaged skin while avoiding to pierce through his muscles or veins, or even damaging his bones. Rudra clearly felt the searing pain but most of it was calmed down by the sedatives given to him that suppressed his senses for a bit. As he still felt the pain, he sensed something unusual in his spiritual space.

His fire energy talent was trembling as it released tons of fire flarenege into Rudra's body which began to travel through his energy channels, approaching his wounds, the flarenege began absorbing the heat, through which the fire flarenege was getting nourished, becoming more powerful. This reduced his pain a bit.

Arsh used the heated blade carefully and cauterized the wound on both sides of the thigh. After that, Arsh again took the decoction he had prepared and carefully washed the wound. Then he took the dark green poultice he had prepared and mixed it properly, then he gently applied it and smeared it on both the ends of his thigh injury.

He then took a broad Vaidrik leaf and wrapped around Rudra's thigh to seal the sound. Upon that, he even swaddled a soft cloth strip around his thigh to completely close the wound. Arsh then stood up as he said,

"Now, the only thing you need is restored and nourishment of your chakras."

"It will take a few days for you to recover, maybe even two weeks, you two will have to stay here till then to support him as friends," Arsh said as he walked out of the cabin.

It was night time as Rudra still lay on the bed, talking to Musha while Isha went out to fetch some water from the water well at the foot of the hill.

"I hope that you get well soon."

"its worth wondering how you came all the way here with such an injury." Musha said.

"Thanks."

"Oh… and by the way, you are a saint as well, right?" Musha asked.

"Yeah," Rudra replied.

"Its startling to such a young saint cultivator of your age."

This was when Isha entered with a gallon of water in her hands that she kept beside.

"Musha, I have brought the water."

"Go and help Mr. Arsh to bring the food," Isha said as she sat right beside Rudra.

"How are you feeling right now?"

"I am alright, just a little pain." Rudra said.

"You will have to learn to endure it for such situations." Isha said as she caressed Rudra's head.

Rudra suddenly remembered something as he got lot into his memories 'Learn to endure pain and become tough to face such situations,' That's what Mayra had said to keep him motivated. He looked at Isha and felt the weight and emotion of her words.

"Why are you helping us so much?" Rudra suddenly asked.

"Because Vedna is my friend, and you are like my brother."

"just like you are to her. Vedna has been the most closest friend to your Sister Mayra."

" and… she has also been the most supportive friend for me.

"Although it was only through letters." Isha said.

Rudra began to think about it and then Musha came in with a plate filled with fruits. "Eat them." Isha said.

Rudra was surprised, but he refused to eat those fruits as he shook his head. "You will eat this."

'She is acting as if she is my sister.'

'I guess….. she really does consider herself my sister.' As this thought struck his mind, he couldn't refuse to eat anymore.

After eating he was even forced by Isha to got to sleep. Accepting her instructions as soon as he closed his eyes, with a flash he found himself in the same green field surrounded with a mist. Acharya appeared in front of him as a ghost as he emerged out of the mist.

"Acharya, although I was treated by Mr. Arsh, it's gonna take me many days to recover."

"How can I cultivate till then?" Rudra asked.

"That's right….hmmmmm," Acharya took a pause.

"There is a way through which you can meditate in such a lose as well to nourish your chakra and recover fast."

A wide smile spread across Rudra's face instantly "And how is that?"

"There is a special kind of posture called the supine integration posture."

"in this through certain hand and body alignments and soft rhythmic breathing is used to enhance the absorption of cosmic energy and the channeling of kundalini across the body." After that Acharya begins to explain.

"You need to lie with a straight back, raise your arms in a specific angle and the palms should be facing towards the sky. Your head should be resting straight where as your chin shall be slightly tucked up to open the throat channel. Your tongue should be touching the upper palate and your controlled rhythmic breathing should pulse with the cosmic energy."

Acharya taught him about the supine integration posture while he heard carefully. " For now focus on recovering while nourishing your chakra, it may even lead you to break to the next stage and help you recover fast."

Rudra returned back to the normal world with a flash to see that the fire torches were smoldering as they were shut, and the room was covered in darkness. Rudra looked around to find no one, maybe Isha and Musha were asleep, he then titlted his head to glance out of the window to find Arsh to be in a meditative trance.

Rudra took this opportunity as he aligned his body according to the supine integration posture and began to absorb cosmic energy to nourish his chakra. He felt a relaxing feeling surged through his body as the energy was being absorbed in his first chakra, which in return increased his kundalini. He circulated the kundalini throughout his body, mainly focusing on the thigh injury, making him feel he was healing faster.

In such cycles their days went by as Rudra mostly kept meditating to recover as fast as possible and followed the instructions of Arsh, consuming the medicines and fruits given by him. After a few days, Rudra was even instructed by Arsh to try to get up and walk a few steps every now and then to make his legs adapt to walking.

But one day, something weird happen when he accidentally drifted into sleep while meditating. Rudra found himself in the same green planes rolling down the hills, knolls and mounds. The area he was standing in was surrounded by huge dense trees the distant horizon was laced with a series of mountains accompanied with floating islands atop.

Small waterfalls broke through the clouds from those floating islands, meeting the peaks and swiftly drifting it's way down with smooth curves. The sun rose above the clouds. Rudra glanced around to spot a small stream of water flowing by right beside him. This made him have a déjà vu as he felt he had seen all of this somewhere else.

That was when he suddenly remembered what this place was, but until then it was too late. Darks clouds floated right above, covering nearby everything in their shadow. Suddenly out of now where a sky tearing thunder roared as it surged out of cloud and instantly drop down onto Rudra directly, even setting the grass around him with fire.

The fire spread wildly though the grass and climbed onto tallest of trees as if unstoppable. Rudra was utterly shocked as the lightening fell right above him, causing his entire body to nearly burn, but he had somehow survived only to suffer it's incredible pain.

But the only question that was surfing through his mind was that what was happening here?
