Trisya hung up the phone and looked at Richard.
"Done," she said, a look of relief on her face. "But I didn't wait for his answer. I just hung up."
"Why?" Richard asked.
"I was afraid to hear his answer."
Trisya's phone rang. It was Maulana.
"He wants to talk," Richard said.
Trisya shook her head.
"Don't be afraid, Daddy is here."
"Just let you talk."
Richard picked up the phone.
"Hello."
"Hello, who is this? Wasn't the one who called me a woman?"
"Yes."
"Where is she? The woman who claims to be Trisya Monica, 25 years old, daughter of Ariana Dewi?"
"She's here."
"I want to talk to her. Who is this, by the way?"
Trisya snatched the phone from Richard's hand.
"Why did you leave me and Mom???"
"Are you really Ariana's daughter?"
"Yes! I regret being born to both of you!"
"Where do you live?"
"You don't need to know! If it's just going to add more toxic people around me!" Trisya hung up the phone.
She looked at Richard.
"Thank you, Dad. For being the one who accompanied me tonight."
A WhatsApp message came in.
"Where do you live?" Maulana's message read.
Richard quickly replied.
"Dad?"
"Okay, tomorrow I happen to be staying in Pontianak. Let's meet at the coffee shop of the hotel where I'm staying at 5 pm."
"Okay," Richard replied.
"Dad, I don't want to!" Trisya protested.
"Trisya, listen to me. You have to finish this. So your revenge on the past will be over."
Trisya looked at Richard.
"Dad, will you accompany me?"
"Okay."
"Thank you, Dad..." Trisya hugged Richard.
"Now you rest, even if it's just for a while, it can relieve your fatigue."
"Dad, stay with me," Trisya pleaded.
"Yes."
Richard waited until Trisya fell asleep. He stepped outside and tried to call Ariana.
"What's up? I thought you'd forgotten about me."
"I don't want any trouble."
"There won't be any trouble if you're not the one who started this madness!"
Richard hung up the phone. Ariana was seen calling back.
"Yes."
"Why did you hang up?" Ariana asked.
"I told you. I don't want any trouble."
"You're the one who started it. I don't know why you're being controlled by that devil woman."
"Is her father's name Maulana?" Richard changed the subject.
"What? How did you know?? I've never told anyone. There's no record of our marriage because my marriage to him wasn't registered."
"It's time you opened up about the past, Riana."
"I don't want to!"
"Trisya has the right to know who her father is!" Richard asserted.
"Fine! You can find out, go ahead!!" Ariana hung up the phone.
"How can a mother and daughter be so stubborn?" Richard grumbled.

Maulana sat in front of Trisya. He stared at her for a long time. He then turned his gaze to Richard who was sitting next to Trisya, then back to Trisya.
"You're a grown woman now, Girl," Maulana said. "Papa left you when you were just a month old. At that time, there was a little problem with your Mama. Papa moved to Pontianak, where he settled down with a woman who, if you meet her, you'll call your stepmother and a step-sister."
"Happy?" Trisya asked.
"Alhamdulillah."
"It's understandable if you leave that toxic woman!"
"Your Mom has a strong personality, maybe she's not compatible with Papa. It made Papa couldn't stay with her."
Trisya smiled thinly.
"Have you ever felt guilty towards me??" Trisya asked coldly.
Maulana was silent, unable to answer and bowed his head.
"Forgive Papa. Because I never remembered you at all," Maulana looked at Trisya.
"What else do you feel guilty about??" Trisya asked.
Maulana nodded.
"Because of that you never knew how hurt I was, right? How I lived my life for 25 years? I was treated inhumanely by your ex-wife who I had to call Mama! I was treated like an animal by the person who made me survive until today! And you live happily with your new family?!" Trisya shouted. "How could you let me be born if you were so selfish and didn't want me???"
Maulana was speechless.
"I am sorry," Maulana said.
"Do you think an apology is enough?? Even if you kneel at my feet, it won't change anything!!!"
"Trisya.." Richard held Trisya's hand to stop her anger.
"Papa didn't know you would be so hurt."
"Get out of my life! And never remember me!" Trisya left the place.
"Trisya..!" Richard called.
"Excuse me, may I know who you are? And what is your relationship with Trisya?" Maulana asked. "You're the one who answered the phone earlier, right?"
"Yes.."
"Who are you to Trisya?"
Richard was silent for a moment before finally answering.
"I'm Richard, the man who loves and protects her."
Maulana's brow furrowed.
"But I think you're quite a bit older than her."
"What she needs is a man who can be her companion and replace her father whom she has never seen in her life. Excuse me," Richard left the place.
Maulana sighed. He sat in the cafe for a long time until he decided to leave. But his eyes fell on Ariana who entered with Renata.
"Ariana?" Maulana muttered.
"Ariana!" he called.
Ariana and Renata turned around.
"Maulana?" Ariana was surprised.
"Who is she, Auntie?" Renata asked.
Maulana approached them.
"How are you?"
"Fine," Ariana replied flatly. "What are you doing here?"
"I have a job. I'll be back tomorrow."
"Oh. Okay, excuse me."
Ariana walked away with Renata.
"I just met Trisya!" Maulana said.
Ariana stopped.
"What?"
"I just met Trisya."
"How is that possible?"
"She met Andri, our neighbor back then."
"Oh.."
"I can't believe she's so broken."
Ariana laughed.
"She must be saying that I'm a disgusting mother. Always hurting her. Her drama can make many people fall at her feet."
"Really?"
"Even my husband can't think normally anymore since he fell for her drama."
"Your husband?"
"Yes.. You know, your daughter is so crazy she's already taken my husband! Do you know?"
"What?"
"Can you imagine how hurt I am?"
"The man with her earlier is your husband??"
"Richard?"
"Yes.. I thought Trisya married a man who was too old for her."
"They're crazy, aren't they??"

Ardi looked at Trisya. The woman was still sitting crying on a park bench in the middle of a heavy downpour. It was already 10 pm.
"Let's go home.." Ardi said softly.
"I don't want to."
"Come on. You've been crying for an hour. People have been looking at me since earlier. They think I'm hurting you."
"It's already quiet, isn't it? No one wants to sit in the middle of the heavy rain."
"You'll get sick."
"Let me! Let me die!"
Ardi sighed before finally carrying Trisya.
"What do you want?" Trisya asked.
"Later if you get sick, I'll get scolded by your parents."
Ardi opened the car door, put Trisya in the car, and he followed her to sit next to her.
"You love to bathe in the rain."
Trisya pouted.
"Why did you come when I called if it was just to scold me?"
Ardi didn't answer. He took out his ringing phone.
"Yes, Aunt Irma."
"Where are you, Di?" asked the woman named Irma.
"I'm taking my boss's daughter home first, Aunt. Why, Aunt?"
"Is it okay if I call you to talk? Because these past few days it's been hard to find time to talk to you."
"I'm busy with work, Aunt."
"You're always thinking about work."
"What's up, Aunt?"
"This .. Aisyah's parents have asked Aunt. When will you come to their house?"
"To their house? What do you mean, Aunt?"
"Officer," Trisya leaned her head on Ardi's shoulder.
Ardi turned around.
"What?"
Trisya didn't answer. She closed her eyes.
"Who is that, Di?"
"My boss's daughter. What did you mean earlier, Aunt?"
"How's your relationship with Aisyah? When will it be official? When will you come to Aisyah's house for the proposal?"
"Ah. Why is the conversation going there, aunt?"
"Well, you were introduced to her, weren't you? Aunt introduced you to Aisyah, the goal was to make Aisyah your partner."
"Ah. I haven't thought about marriage, Aunt. If it's just as friends, it's okay. But I haven't thought about going that far."
"They're worried because someone saw you going out at night with a woman several times. You even went out at a very late hour."
"Just say you already have a girlfriend, Sir.." Trisya whispered while hugging Ardi.
"Aunt. I'll continue later, okay? I'm going to take my boss's daughter home first."
"Okay. Be careful."
Ardi put down his phone. He released Trisya's hug.
"Let me hug you for a while, Sir."
Trisya hugged Ardi again. This time, tighter.
"I want to drive," Ardi said.
"Just for a while."
Ardi looked at Trisya's face.
"Why does your heart seem to be beating faster, Sir?" Trisya asked.
