Chapter 2 – The God Key Heist

Evalof – Once Human, Now Divine Outcast

I remember the day I stole the God Key.

The Celestial Arena of the Upper Realm was burning. Ash covered the marble skies. The thrones of the Nine Pantheons lay empty—gods too afraid to face me after what I did.

I was bleeding.

They'd pierced me with a Blade of Order, forged from the roots of Reality. But it didn't stop me.

I had no time.

They were coming.

I had climbed their sacred tower, passed their trials, shattered their illusions. I had become a god by their own rules—but I wasn't born one, and they could never forgive that.

> "He is not pure," they said. "He is not of divine birth." "He is an error."

But I knew better.

The universe didn't need more gods who sat on clouds arguing over mortals like dice on a table. It needed someone who had known weakness. Someone who had bled.

So I entered the Vault of Epochs.

And there it was.

Suspended in a sphere of shattered time, pulsing with runes older than language.

The God Key.

I didn't know it would respond to me. I just hoped. I reached forward, whispering my true name—

> "Evalof. Son of Dust. First of the Fallen Ascendants."

The Key trembled.

It rejected the god-blooded warriors who tried to claim it. It accepted me.

And in that moment, I saw everything.

---

A Flash of Everything

Time shattered.

Galaxies unfolded in my mind. Systems. Paths. Billions of cultivation routes. Races I'd never seen. Behemoths in slumber. Other universes watching us from behind veils.

And among them... the Darkness Behemoth.

It was older than our multiverse. Feeding on realities like we drink water. It was crawling, inching closer.

That's when I understood.

They weren't chasing me because I stole the Key.

They were chasing me because I'd seen what they were too afraid to admit.

---

The Pursuit

I fled the Vault, gods screaming behind me. Valkyries. Celestial Beasts. Even the Crimson Seraphim descended.

But the Key was now part of me—melded into my soul.

Each step I took warped space.

I jumped from realm to realm—Altherion, Nova Exile, Voidroot, even the broken remnants of the Demon Scriptures.

I had to disappear.

But where do you hide when the gods watch everything?

You go where they've never looked.

Chapter 3 – Earthfall

Entering the Forgotten World Earth.

A forgotten backwater at the edge of dimensional space. No magic. No cultivation. Just slow, sleeping mortals in fragile bodies.

It was perfect.

I tunneled through with the last of my energy. The Rift almost killed me. It took days in star-time. But I emerged... broken.

The moment I landed, I knew.

This world wasn't compatible with me. My divine soul... my power... it would burn it apart.

So I made a decision.

I released the Key.

Not fully. Not into the world. Into a fetus. An unborn child forming in a quiet village under a weak moon.

> "Kairo..." I whispered, even though he couldn't hear me. "You are the second chance. The true vessel."

The Key bonded to him instantly, and I—Evalof—was cast inward.

A prisoner in his soul.

---

The Moment Before Silence

Before I slept inside him, I looked to the stars. I saw the gods searching. I felt their divine senses, sweeping through the realms. But they never looked here.

Earth was too low. Too weak. Too simple.

Good.

Let them think I'm dead.

Let them ignore this place.

Because someday, when the stars fall and the Behemoth screams, they will realize the truth:

> "The God Key was never a weapon."

"It was a seed."

And it was now planted.
