Chapter 3 - — The Knight

As Arthur exited the duel realm, he had a sudden alert.

[You have exerted too much demonic presence! The knights of Midgard are aware of your presence! You are being hunted by The Round Table guild!]

Arthur stared at the message. He felt almost devastated, the round table was a guild he was all too familiar with. It was his guild. The guild he had made, the members he had since he was a teenager. But he quickly disregarded emotion and pulled his cloak over him. His new discovery of the power of a demons body filled him with some amount of confidence. He ran out of the bar and jumped onto the roof. He hid behind a chimney as he heard knights running down the street. And stopping at the bar. Holding torches and holy weapons. Other players in the game made chase as well. The rewards for the quest were too good. If they got the last blow on him they could have some of the most powerful items in the game.

"Shit…I don't have a good weapon. And some of these guys are decently high level. I won't be able to kill a knight. So my best chance is just to run…" he whispered to himself as he took off from the rooftop. Sprinting from surface to surface, his demon body was powerful. Each step shot him further distances than a normal human could. He was making his way towards the outer walls. He thought of using the rusty sword. But he quickly shook off the thought. He has a better chance of using his bare hands.

Suddenly he heard a sonic boom come from downtown. And he saw it. A large flash of light zipping towards him. His instinct kicked in and he dived down. It drove right past him.

"Holy shit…" he whispered softly. He recognized the weapon. He had crafted it himself, and given it to one of his trusted friends. "Gugnir." Gungnir was one of the best weapons in the game, behind his Excalibur, crafted by Arthur himself, he had given it to one of his friends, free of charge. The spear was also called the truth seeking spear. Just because it had incredible precision. And rarely ever missed. Although, he felt as if it wasn't thrown with the intent to kill. He quickly started bolting again. Even more afraid this time.

"Shit, if that guys here…I probably won't make it past the outer walls."

He heard Gungnir wisp back to the owner. Hearing knights yelling at him to surrender and be apprehended. And desperate players trying to take advantage of the quest. He reached the out wall and leaped off of it. He landed on the ground safely. But found he could not move. He could see the light out of the corner of his eye. Gungnir was stuck to his cloak. He tried to rip the cloak off but it was too late. There was a knight standing in front of him. Majestic waving blue hair. Silver armor that shone in the daylight.

"Halt demon." Said Lancelot. He showed no intent to kill.
