"Miss Wen, did you just get off work?" The man smiled, revealing a set of yellow teeth that was quite an eyesore, immediately decreasing Wen He's impression of him by thirty percent.
Wen He averted her gaze and nodded slightly.
"Where does Miss Wen work?" he asked again.
Wen He: "Orchestra."
A trace of surprise flashed in the man's eyes: "Music? What does Miss Wen play?"
Wen He forced a smile: "Flute."
The man nodded with interest, pondering for a moment before suddenly asking, "When does Miss Wen plan to marry me?"
Wen He paused mid-sip, almost choking: "M-marry?"
"Yes, didn't you come for a blind date to get married?" the man said matter-of-factly, "I'm already thirty. If you don't mind, we can get our marriage license next month during my annual leave. As for the wedding... I'd prefer to keep it simple since my mother is quite thrifty... "
