Two police officers stepped forward to hold Cherry Lewis by the shoulders, ready to escort her out.
Cherry finally panicked and looked at the elderly woman: "Grandma!"
The elderly woman was about to reprimand the police when Zoe Lewis suddenly said, "Grandma, since you can't bear to part with your granddaughter, let's go together. I still have several pieces of evidence regarding the suspicious circumstances of my grandfather's death. By then, please let the police investigate thoroughly!"
Thus, the elderly woman and Cherry were both taken away in a police car.
Milo Field watched the two of them being taken away, his gaze toward Zoe becoming somewhat peculiar.
He always thought Zoe was naive and sweet, easy to exploit and control. Now it seems he was mistaken?
She was ruthless and efficient in dealing with her grandmother and cousin!
Zoe hardly cared what Milo thought of her; she was determined to avenge Ryker's death, or she wouldn't have the face to meet Mrs. Left.
