Connor felt like a traveler struggling through a desert, and she gave him a drop of water to drink, and he thought it was incredibly sweet, willingly allowing her to control him.
He walked indoors:
"The midday sun is too harsh now; it will harm your skin."
Natalie Niles protested, "I still want to sunbathe. The sun won't harm me. Put me back."
"No way."
Connor forcefully refused, "Be a little obedient, and I'll make you something to eat."
He carried Natalie downstairs, laid her on the sofa, turned on the TV to play the cartoon Tom and Jerry, and busied himself in the kitchen.
Natalie Niles couldn't help but rub her forehead. Did she accidentally find herself a foolish boyfriend?
Why can't he find a show with dialogue, something for adults to watch? At least she could mentally fill in the scenes based on the conversation.
There are hardly any words in Tom and Jerry, and now that she's blind, she can't see anything, so how is she supposed to imagine what's happening?
