Connor returned to his villa, and as soon as he entered the Garden Estate, he became alert: "Who? Come out!"
Natalie Niles stepped out from the dark corner, standing in front of Connor: "It's me, I've been waiting for you, Connor."
"Why are you here?"
Connor's face turned cold: "Get out!"
"You've been crying?"
Natalie reached out, wanting to touch his face.
Connor quickly stepped back: "What do you mean?"
"Nothing, I'm just a bit worried about you. I heard from Johan that you broke up with Cora, so I came to check on you."
Natalie stepped closer: "I also wanted to clarify that this matter really has nothing to do with me. Johan misunderstood me, I just hope you won't misunderstand me as well."
Under the moonlight, she appeared especially elegant and charming. Years of martial arts training made her look particularly agile and energetic, even with bruises marring her face, her demeanor wasn't diminished.
