Zheng Lu Hua observed Mu Yan's calm demeanor and guessed that Brother Jiang hadn't told Mu Yan about Lan Xi and Lu Hao.
She pondered for a moment and said, "Lan Xi's absence today is indeed related to Brother Lu."
"What happened, did he bully Lan Xi?" Mu Yan frowned, his expression full of displeasure.
"It's not really bullying; it's just that Brother Lu refused to marry into the Lan Family."
Mu Yan suddenly understood. No wonder Lan Xi didn't come. Being rejected by the man she loved, she was probably hiding somewhere crying and didn't dare face him.
She calmly said, "That's good."
In her opinion, Lu Hao was simply not good enough for Lan Xi. Lu Hao knowing his limits was a good thing, and it spared Lan Xi from getting hurt.
Zheng Lu Hua looked at her, slightly surprised, "Sister-in-law, don't you hope for them to be together?"
Mu Yan didn't answer but instead asked, "Do you think they're suitable for each other?"
