"We've never been enemies, Miss Sterling, so why are you so prejudiced against me?" Ivy Wood approached Serena Sterling. "Even if I told you some truths before, it was for your own good, to keep you from being in the dark..."
Serena Sterling looked at Ivy Wood, interrupting coldly, "Dr. Wood doesn't seem to be my attending physician. Did you enter the wrong ward?"
"Miss Wood, it seems your misunderstanding of me isn't small." Ivy Wood said, taking out her phone.
She opened the album, found the images she just took, and showed them to Serena Sterling. "Miss Sterling, the truth is cruel, but discovering it early and freeing oneself earlier is not a bad thing."
Serena Sterling had no interest in what Ivy Wood was showing her.
She knew whatever this woman was showing her wouldn't be anything good.
She didn't look, but instead addressed Ivy Wood, "Dr. Wood, don't act like you're doing me a favor. We're not familiar enough for that to be necessary."
