He just knew it.
Mark, while pouring himself another glass of wine and playing with it in hand, analyzed the current situation, "Ava Parker is well-protected by Virgil Davies. It's not the right time to make a move. Besides, such a minor character poses no threat to the princess and might be hugely useful later on!"
Hearing Mark's words, Irene's voice turned colder, "Are you daring to defy the princess now? The princess wants only a servant who obeys without question! You just need to follow her orders without thinking about other matters!"
Mark's lips curled slightly, a cold smile appearing on his handsome face, "I'm sorry, I don't want to kill anyone."
Irene sneered at this, "Oh, don't want to kill? Don't you find it ridiculous to say such a thing? Don't forget, you're an assassin! An assassin whose name isn't even his own!"
Currently, his identity is that of an assassin, a fact he can't change.
Yet he still wants to strive to change that fact.
