Before the teacher could respond, Raina Galan spoke up first: "Benjamin Parker, it was the teacher who said he wanted to punish Daniel Davies, so Daniel ran off on his own. And when it started raining, the teacher called Daniel in, but he just stood there without moving for some reason."
Upon hearing this, Benjamin Parker's gaze became even colder.
He looked at the teacher and spoke coldly, demanding, "Teacher, what did my brother do? How serious was his mistake that you had to punish him like this?"
Facing the cold questioning of a child barely four years old, the teacher tried to maintain her dignity, replying with justification, "He bullied another child and refused to apologize. I've given him many chances."
Benjamin turned his head to look at the red mark on Daniel's shirt.
The red mark, originally made by a brush and not very noticeable, had become more prominent due to being drenched by the rain.
With Daniel wearing a white shirt, the red stood out even more.
