Mia Ginger hadn't finished speaking when Koa Jackson directly pulled the quilt over himself, lay down, wrapped his long arm around her, and, raising an eyebrow with a smile, said, "Alright."
Mia: "..."
"Your hand, please." Koa chuckled happily and continued.
Mia lay on his chest, pouted, and reluctantly stretched out her hand.
Koa lowered his eyes to glance at her, "Left hand."
Mia paused, then quickly switched to giving him her left hand.
Koa gently held her slender ring finger and slowly slid the diamond ring he was holding onto it, securing her finger.
The room's lights weren't turned on, making it slightly dark.
But, at some point, the gloomy sky outside started to brighten as the rain stopped, letting in a bit of light.
The light slanted in through the floor-to-ceiling windows, brightening the room with a soft glow.
Koa held Mia's hand while Mia's chin rested on his chest, her bright black eyes wide open, gazing steadily at him.
Their eyes met.
