"It's alright, I don't have anything to do this afternoon either."
"Didn't you say on the phone that you needed to buy something? That you'd arranged to meet someone?"
"Nope." Mia Ginger smiled, "I just said that so he wouldn't worry about me."
"..." Aurora Cooper paused for a moment, then said to Amy, "Nowadays, sensible young girls like her are really rare. That girl Margot, getting a boyfriend and not stirring up trouble is already good enough, yet she finds new ways to make a fuss every day."
"Isn't that the truth." Amy also smiled suddenly, echoing, "My cousin's the same; her boyfriend has to be available at her beck and call."
Mia Ginger didn't say anything, biting her lip with a shy smile.
Aurora watched her, feeling that the girl really was thin-skinned and couldn't bear to tease anymore.
In the warm interior, drinking coffee, Amy's previous reproach towards her dissipated.
The three of them chatted casually for a bit more.
Then got up to leave.
