"Almost at Lover's Slope, I'm taking the shortest path. Another ten minutes or so," Mia Ginger said.
"Alright, see you soon."
"See you soon," Mia hung up the phone.
As she raised her gaze, she suddenly realized her surroundings were eerily quiet.
Lover's Slope was a name given by the students, as the name suggests, it's a favorite spot for couples in the school.
Originally, it was the site of a historical figure's cenotaph.
To commemorate and protect the place, the school intentionally preserved a large area, planting dense greenery.
Gradually, it formed a very dense small forest, making it convenient for young couples on campus to meet secretly.
With gravestones and forest, the area was somewhat scary at night.
Mia rarely took this path; earlier when she lingered on campus with Koa Jackson, they joked about ghost stories related to the place, earning her a reprimand from Koa.
Thinking of ghosts, Mia suddenly felt a chill down her spine.
