Qi Shangyu glanced at Zhong Li, then told everyone that everyone had arrived and they could get on the car and depart.
Zhong Li, carrying a backpack, walked with Assistant Wang to the front of the business van. They only boarded after everyone else was seated, but just as Assistant Wang lifted his left foot, he was glared at by Qi Shangyu.
Assistant Wang immediately understood the signal and retracted his foot, allowing Qi Shangyu to sit beside Zhong Li before quietly following behind to get on the car.
Zhong Li sat by the window in the front row. Seeing Qi Shangyu sit next to her, she couldn't help but lean to one side.
Noticing Zhong Li's subtle move, Qi Shangyu calmly instructed the driver to start driving.
Zhong Li rested her head against the car window, took out her headphones from her backpack, and swiped her phone screen to play music.
Qi Shangyu turned his head to look at her, a smile unknowingly forming at the corners of his mouth.
