Zhong Li couldn't shake the feeling that Gu Hanjun's feelings for Gu Nanxi were more than just sibling affection; after all, they weren't related by blood, only siblings in name.

Zhong Li looked at Gu Nanxi and said, during the banquet she hadn't gotten a chance to eat due to everything that happened, and now her stomach was growling.
"What do you want to eat? I'll make it for you."
"I want pasta; there are ingredients in the fridge, but can you make it?"
Gu Nanxi looked at Zhong Li indulgently and couldn't resist kissing the corner of her mouth: "I can make it, just go rest in the bedroom for a bit, and I'll call you when it's done."
"Okay."
