Lin Wan hadn't cooked lunch yet and felt full after eating two apples.
The temperature dropped abruptly in the afternoon. Lin Wan put on a sweater over her autumn clothes and wore a woolen coat outside.
Even then, she still felt quite cold. She sat on the kang covered with a quilt, feeling much warmer.
As she warmed up, she fell asleep again.
Lin Wan didn't wake up until around four or five o'clock, then she picked and washed the leeks, stir-fried seven or eight eggs, and mixed a leek egg filling. It filled a pot of dumplings.
When Han Yi came back from evening classes, Lin Wan had been busy all evening.
"You still haven't eaten?" Han Yi studied until after eight, saw the freshly wrapped dumplings, and frowned slightly.
"It was too cold in the afternoon, I took a nap, didn't set an alarm, and woke up late. I'm going to cook dumplings now, do you want to eat some?"
"Sure."
