Lou Xi blinked her sincere little eyes at Qin Mobai, then her phone rang.
Placed on the coffee table, she saw it was a call from Bai Lu. Thinking she hadn't gone to school the past couple of days, but Young Master Qin should have gotten her some leave, right?
She didn't avoid Qin Mobai, just answered the phone in the living room.
"Xixi, are you okay? I heard from Young Master Qin about what happened to you a few days ago, I was scared to death!" Bai Lu's worried voice came from the other end of the line.
Lou Xi glanced at Qin Mobai, thinking if it weren't for him, she probably still wouldn't know where she was now!
"I'm fine, all thanks to Young Master Qin for keeping me safe."
Qin Mobai paused his document reviewing hand, his lips curved into a lovely arc.
Hearing Lou Xi say this probably made him quite happy!
Seeing Young Master Qin slightly smile, Lou Xi felt happy too.
