"How did you..."
"Maxwell Saxon called me."
"I knew it was him." Hayes Simmons' face displayed righteous anger, "He's truly inhumane, Uncle Saxon never should have taken him and May Denton in back then, it was like inviting a wolf into the house."
Scarlett Yates gave a bitter smile, "If he had any humanity, he wouldn't have done this."
"He called you, what did he say?"
The Simmons Family was aware of some of the Saxon Family's secrets, and the two families had a pretty good relationship. That's why Scarlett Yates didn't hide anything from Hayes Simmons.
"He didn't say much, just told me that he was the one who poisoned." Scarlett Yates still didn't tell Hayes Simmons about the condition Maxwell Saxon proposed.
"And then?" Hayes Simmons didn't believe that Maxwell Saxon would do all this just to tell her about it, "Didn't he make any demands? Isn't he doing this to seize everything from the Saxon Family? Did he ever say that he wanted Matthew to hand over Seymour?"
