His face, bruised and swollen, was impossible to look at. It was a ridiculous sight, a face hard to recognize even for those who knew him well.
This contrast only made Knox Simmons' inner rage burn even hotter. His fury surged into his mind like an explosion, and his blood boiled as he glared at Matthew Saxon with eyes red with anger: "Are you still not done today? Haven't you had enough, or do you want another fight?"
Matthew Saxon appraised him from head to toe, a contemptuous smile playing on his lips: "You think you're up to it? Still haven't had enough of my beatings, want another dose?"

Even knowing he couldn't win against him, Knox Simmons refused to bow his head before him.
He tossed the stone in his hand to the roadside, turned, clapped his hands, and sneered: "Who's going to beat whom isn't settled yet. I was just off my game before and didn't show my usual skills. This time, I'll knock your teeth out."
