Summer Sutton eagerly followed him, attentively poured him a cup of tea and handed it to him, "Here's the thing, I got fired today."
"Isn't that great? You can go home and eat well, drink well, and have someone take care of you." Adrian Walyon lightly sipped his tea, not taking her words seriously at all.
"But, if that's the case, when Dawnlight Plaza opens next year, I won't be so close to the mall, and I won't be able to keep tabs on the business there firsthand. We planned this mall together!" Summer reminded him.
"That's true." Adrian lightly tapped his fingertips, seriously thinking about her words.
He didn't care at all whether she had a job.
However, he did care about their shared efforts.
"Also, I was eliminated from Royal Delight with a score of two points—which is embarrassingly low. If one day people found out your wife had that score, wouldn't you feel ashamed?" Summer cautiously glanced at him, secretly observing his reaction.
