He didn't mind, so Summer Sutton had no reason to mind either.
She sat next to him, and just like that, they finished their dinner.
At this late hour, the lights in the neighboring complex outside had long been turned off.
After dinner, Summer stood on the apartment balcony, watching the bustling traffic below. Suddenly, she felt that tonight's nightscape was particularly beautiful.
Adrian Walyon followed her out, wrapping his long arms around her from behind.
"Do you like it here?" he asked, close to her ear.
"I like it," Summer nodded vigorously.
"Compared to Morning Garden and Sutton Gardens?" Adrian asked again.
"It's the same everywhere," Summer replied, stretching her arms comfortably.
"That's what I think too," Adrian smiled, a faint smile that was nevertheless charming.
Isn't it true?
As long as he and she were together, it didn't matter where they lived.
Morning Garden was home, Sutton Gardens was too, and now here was as well.
