"Why aren't you more careful?" Ryan Walyon frowned, grabbed a few tissues, and tried to stop the bleeding on her hand.
Summer Sutton seemed startled, hurriedly pulled her hand away, and stepped back several paces.
Her movements were quick, like being shocked; as soon as Ryan held her hand, she withdrew rapidly.
Ryan's hand froze in mid-air, momentarily stunned.
Summer Sutton felt a bit awkward, casually wiped the blood off her finger, and shook it.
"I'm fine! Really, it's nothing! No need to worry about me!" she said nonchalantly, but anyone with a keen eye could see she was trying to avoid suspicion.
Probably afraid of causing misunderstanding if others saw, she deliberately maintained quite some distance from Ryan.
Blood was still flowing from her hand, the bright red blood welling up, indicating a fairly deep wound, bleeding somewhat heavily.
Droplets of blood blossomed on the ground like flowers.
Ryan Walyon frowned again.
