As soon as they stepped into the room, with Summer Sutton leaning against the door behind her, Adrian Walyon cupped her head with his hand and kissed her hard on the lips, pushing her toward the bed.
"Are you okay?" Summer Sutton asked, slightly worried about his hand.
That one sentence was like a bucket of water poured over Adrian Walyon.
In his current state, with so many bandages wrapped around his arm, Summer Sutton was a bit afraid she might accidentally crush him.
She quietly looked at him, still waiting for his answer.
Would Adrian Walyon admit he couldn't?
But, given the situation, if they proceeded and he moved too vigorously, it would surely pull on his wound.
It seemed he really couldn't.
Adrian Walyon was momentarily at a loss for how to respond to her question.
"Let's take a shower first!" Summer Sutton said, feeling a bit embarrassed, as she quickly scrambled off the bed and headed for the bathroom.
