"Hello, uncle!"
Nangong Chen introduced himself, and after asking Mu Siwu, he looked at Jiang Xue again and asked, "Did you save me?"
"Kind of!" Jiang Xue nodded. She was sort of half a lifesaver for Nangong Chen.
"Thank you!" Nangong Chen expressed his gratitude, but his gaze lingered on Jiang Xue, making her slightly uncomfortable.
Mu Siwu noticed Nangong Chen staring at Jiang Xue and said, "I don't know if Mr. Nangong has family at home, or contact information for them. You've been injured and will need to stay in the hospital for a while, someone needs to take care of you. Should I help you contact your family?"
"Thank you, uncle, but it's not necessary. I can handle it alone." Nangong Chen refused with a smile. He had many family members, but only one truly cared about him.
And he didn't want that person to worry, so he decided to recover here before doing anything else.
