Ji Niandong and Jiang Chao haven't had much contact before; this is their first collaboration with Zheng MiMi.
As they stood at the edge of the stage ready to go on, it was Ji Niandong who first extended her hand. With some experience now, she didn't appear as awkward as Jiang Chao.
She held out her hand for a moment before Jiang Chao took it, though it was more of a touch than a grasp.
It wasn't until the two stepped onto the stage together that Jiang Chao led her over to the visibly disappointed Zheng MiMi and said, "Thank you for teaching me how to confess. Tongtong and I are together now, and since today is Valentine's Day, we're going to celebrate first. I'll treat you to a meal next time."
Ji Niandong, being tugged along, was full of girlish shyness. "Thank you, Mi'er. I've liked Jiang Chao for a long time too. If it weren't for you, neither of us would have dared to speak up."
