Snow wolves hunt in the snow, and the prey ahead, an elk, runs frantically but ultimately cannot escape the wolf pack's siege. Soon, blood splatters everywhere, and the tall elk turns into a blood-soaked skeleton, abandoned in the snow.
The cold wind sweeps through, and snowflakes fall from the branches of the trees, scattering all over and quickly covering the bloody scene. The forest once again becomes a pure, unblemished world.
It seems as though the bloody scene just now never happened at all.
Bai Chenyao and Li Mu hide in a cave not far away, watching the wolf pack move off into the distance without immediately emerging.
