Gu Tiantian had been playing in the flower garden all along, walking and observing as she went. Every so often, she'd sniff at the flowers she found particularly beautiful and intriguing, unable to resist touching and looking around, making for a hilarious sight.
As if she had never seen flowers before.
It wasn't that she had never seen flowers. Because she liked them, even during her work-study programs, she would visit botanical gardens and similar places.
But in the botanical gardens, the flowerbeds usually had signs that said no touching, no stepping. All she could do was look from the edges.
The most memorable time was during her college years when she had a part-time job handing out flyers. She had to go to the suburbs and passed through a field of rapeseed flowers, where she played freely for more than an hour.
Had she not had more flyers to hand out, she would have loved to play a bit longer.
