Daisy Ginger took a deep breath, somewhat absurdly, and couldn't help but laugh.
"You want Edward Stephens to spare him?"
She was dissatisfied with Edward's deceit over the years, but she did not disagree with his actions.
The victor is king, the vanquished is the outlaw. Back when Robert Stephens was in power, he didn't hold back against Edward; now asking Edward to spare him was simply unreasonable.
"I thought you hated him." Daisy looked at her. "You once told me all the things he did to you. I thought you couldn't wait for him to die sooner."
