"Miss Grant, Miss Grant." The servant saw her staring blankly in front of the building for several seconds before calling out.
Upon hearing someone call her, Daisy Grant finally reacted, discreetly withdrawing her gaze, a hint of unease on her face, and lightly smiled, "How come it feels a bit different here?"
"Madam had the exterior renovated last year."
"Oh, let's go inside!" Daisy glanced at Dawn Sutherland upstairs, smiling as she spoke to the servant.
"Please, Miss Grant!"
Just as they walked into the house, Mother Sutherland, Selah Sutton, came over warmly, tightly holding Daisy's hand, and greeted her with a bright smile, "Ah, I've grown tired of seeing all those socialites flaunting around in front of me every day. Our Daisy is still the most beautiful, never boring to look at."
"Oh, Aunt, you're exaggerating. Over the years, you've become more youthful and beautiful," Daisy smiled, speaking warmly.
