Maya Spencer looked at the two words 'third brother' on the screen, and her heartbeat rapidly increased, fluttering like a deer caught in headlights, as if she was about to be caught in an affair.
Maya stared at the screen for a moment, but still answered Liam Spencer's call, pretending to be calm, she called out: "Third brother!"
"Maya, are you home? Can I pick you up for dinner?" Liam seemed in a very good mood today, with a hint of laughter in his voice.
"I'm not at home, I'm about to eat out." Maya explained in a flustered manner.
As soon as the words left her mouth, she regretted speaking too quickly, speaking too nervously, as her words clearly carried an undertone of guilt.
On the other end, listening to Maya's panicked voice, Liam frowned slightly, and for a moment, it seemed he had guessed something.
However, he didn't expose Maya's secret, he simply and calmly asked, "Where are you? I'll come get you."
