"Miss Smith, you're finally back." As soon as Sophie Smith entered the house, a maid greeted her, "Mr. Davis has been calling you all day today, and you haven't answered. He's very worried. Please call him back quickly."
Only then did Sophie remember that her phone had accidentally fallen into the bathtub because of Asher Land, so she asked the maid for Nolan Davis's number and dialed it.
"Nolan..."
"Little Sophie, where have you been yesterday and today?" Nolan Davis's voice carried a hint of anxiety, "The maids said you didn't come back last night. You're in a place where you're not familiar with anyone. What if something happened?"
Even over the phone, Sophie could feel Nolan's anxiety. He was very worried about her.
"Mr. Davis, I'm fine, sorry for making you worry about me. I should have called you, but my phone broke. This is my new number..." She patiently apologized and explained.
"Ah, as long as you're okay." He breathed a long sigh of relief, "Have you had dinner?"
