Na-ri fell to the ground. Her tears kept pouring down her face like rain. The world around her faded into a blur with sadness and guilt consuming her thoughts.
"Na-ri!" Jin Woo's voice sliced through the chaos. He rushed to her, with concern on his face. "Are you okay?"
She shook her head, her body trembling as if it were trying to flee from the truth. "It's all my fault..... Everything is my fault....." she muttered over and over, the words barely audible between her sobs.
"What do you mean? What happened? Please talk to me!" He crouched beside her, desperation in his voice, but she couldn't meet his eyes. The shame kept her head lowered.
Before he could comfort her, she pushed him away gently and sprinted out of the restaurant. "Na-ri, wait!" he called, scrambling to his feet.
