Chapter 327 - Chapter 411-415

Chapter 411 Batman

"Da."

A slight landing sound, if not for the silence brought by clearing the area, even the hearing of an Amazonian would not have been able to hear this sound.

Everyone turned back and found a person wearing a pitch-black battle suit standing behind them. He concealed his entire body under a large cape, but even so, it was not difficult to see the other party's robustness.

"Batman." The Captain pointed the sword in her hand at the dark knight. "I've heard of you. Legend says you're a stealth expert, good at solving opponents in the dark. It's a pity you chose the wrong place. It's very open here. You have almost no place to hide. It's wise of you to jump out early."

"Metropolis, Blüdhaven, Star City, Texas, New York..." Batman ignored the provocation of the Amazon Squad Captain, and just calmly recited a few place names, and then asked, "Amazon Squads have appeared in these cities, and the time difference in the appearance of each Squad is no more than five minutes. What is your purpose?"

"Who knows." The Captain flourished her sword. "I am only responsible for carrying out the Queen's mission. As for the reason, I never ask."

"Queen? Troy or Nephthys?" Batman's eyes flickered, and he asked tentatively.

"Unexpectedly, there are also learned people among humans who know the name of My Queen. That's right, it was Queen Nephthys who issued the order. Based on this, you can know my name before you die." The Captain posed and said.

"My name is Mero. Remember the name of the person who is about to take your life."

As soon as the words fell, without Mero giving an order, the other Amazons had already rushed up. Batman's body remained still, but his cape trembled slightly. Several black pellets rolled from his finger tips. As soon as they touched the ground, thick smoke instantly covered Batman's body.

"He wants to escape." An Amazonian warrior shouted, controlling her body and wanting to stop outside the smoke, but before her body could stand firm, a palm stretched out from the smoke.

"Bang!" A muffled sound rang out. The palm struck upwards on the Amazonian warrior's jaw. This heavy strike caused even the Amazonian to feel dizzy. Her body uncontrollably fell backward. It was Batman. The smoke bomb he threw was not for escaping, but to cover his first attack!

He had been standing in the same place from beginning to end. If the smoke were removed, the Amazonian warrior would look like a fool who obediently rushed up to be beaten.

"Bang! Zzzzz!" A piercing electric current sound followed closely. The right hand wearing the electric gauntlet struck the Amazonian's unprotected abdomen. The electric current began to spread out the moment it touched the flesh. The Amazonian's flesh inevitably received the impact force, which prevented her from counterattacking immediately after regaining consciousness.

"Beep beep beep!" Batman did not have the habit of being greedy for extra hits. He immediately withdrew his hand to prevent being attacked by other Amazons rushing up next. But his nimble little hand allowed him to stick a few glittering things on the Amazonian warrior's body, and at the same time kicked her out.

Another warrior subconsciously caught her injured sister. Then she saw those small gifts flashing red light. Before she could see clearly what they were, those glittering little things exploded with a bang.

The two were blown far away by the impact force of the bomb. Batman used the small bomb used by enemies of the Killer Croc type. Even Amazonians with thick skin and flesh would not be able to stand up in a short time.

"Damn it!" Seeing her two sisters being dealt with, another Amazonian warrior was overwhelmed with anger. She took off the bow and arrow from her back and aimed at Batman, shooting over.

The sharp arrow cut through the air. It looked like it was about to hit Batman, but Batman did not move, just staring straight at the arrow shot over, with no intention of dodging.

At this time, another arrow shot out from above Batman's head, actually taking the lead in knocking down the Amazonian's arrow in the air.

"This is impossible!" The Amazonian widened her eyes. Knocking down another arrow in the air is not an easy thing.

"Seriously, Batman, I think we can switch next time." Green Arrow's sound came from the communicator. Listening to his relaxed tone, it seemed that he didn't take the feat just now to heart.

"All the cool stuff is yours. When will you let me show my face in front of the stage?"

For Green Arrow, he disdained to mention things like just now. In his opinion, it was just shooting a clearly defined moving target, not as cool as Batman facing the arrow directly.

"Next time for sure," Batman said.

Ignoring Green Arrow's complaints in the communicator, Batman charged towards the Amazonian who shot the arrow. Seeing this, the other party shot several arrows in succession, but they were all shot down by Green Arrow one by one.

Being defeated in her proudest field by overwhelming force, the mood of that Amazonian can be imagined. Facing Batman's attack, she could not even organize an effective counterattack. In a few moves, Batman seized her weakness, knocked her to the ground, and then sealed her with the superhuman gel used by the opponent.

"Wonderful!" Mero praised loudly. "Facing an opponent whose physical fitness far exceeds his own, yet being able to end the battle so cleanly and neatly, I really don't know how your exquisite memory comes from."

"Huff~" Batman exhaled a mouthful of foul air. He is after all a human, not a superhuman like Superman and Wonder Woman who would not be tired even after fighting for days and nights. Short-term strenuous exercise would of course make him feel tired, but he is too good at hiding it.

Just like no one knows, he is injured almost every night, but very few people can see that he is injured. To the point that there are even rumors that Batman is a Bat Monster. This rumor even startled Green Lantern when they first met.

"I go to the gym whenever I have time," Batman said in a serious tone, saying words that Amazonians could not understand.

"Pu!" Green Arrow couldn't help but chuckle. "Seriously, Batman, you are really good at telling jokes."

'Actually, it's the truth,' Batman slandered in his heart.

Mero did not dwell on the nouns she didn't understand. She raised her sword and prepared to launch an attack on Batman, but was stopped by Timaeus who was beside her.

"Leave this to me, Captain." Timaeus still looked at Batman with a morbid expression. "I can't wait to see him beg for mercy."

"I bet ten dollars, this little girl will beg for mercy in ten minutes," Green Arrow joked in the communication channel.

"I bet five minutes." Batman lowered his body. Even the armor could not hide his muscle lines, which stretched out at this moment. He was like a cheetah preparing to hunt.

"Deal!"

As soon as Green Arrow's words fell, Batman and Timaeus launched a charge at the same time.

Chapter 412 Bat Armor

Batman is just a human, but his opponents are not all ordinary people. Mutant monsters, mad scientists, and even aliens—these enemies' physical functions far surpass his own, or they possess troublesome special abilities.

When facing these opponents, Batman, being an ordinary human, often suffers in the initial encounters, but when facing the same opponent for the second time, he can easily defeat them, and even deal with multiple opponents at the same time with ease.

"Swoosh swoosh swoosh!"

During the charge, Batman raised his hand and threw three batarangs. Through superb throwing technology, coupled with Wayne Tech's enhancements, these three batarangs actually flew towards Timäus from three different angles.

Timäus showed disdain, holding a shield in her left hand and a sword in her right hand. Without stopping her footsteps, she used both hands to deflect the batarangs flying towards her.

Although it seemed that Timäus's speed had not slowed down, as if she had not been affected, because the purpose of the batarangs wasn't to inflict damage on the enemy. Using batarangs to attack opponents, whether the opponent dodges or blocks, is beneficial to Batman.

If the opponent dodges, Batman not only negates their attack but can also capitalize on the opening to pursue. If they block, Batman disrupts their attack rhythm.

Neither of them stopped their footsteps. By the time Timäus deflected the last batarang, the distance between them was only an arm's length. Even if Timäus swung her sword at top speed at this point, a hastily formed attack would be significantly weaker.

Avoiding the sword's edge, Batman raised his hand and used the blade on his gauntlet to firmly parry Timäus's sword. Capitalizing on her attempt to retract her sword, he landed a punch on Timäus's nose.

"Oof!"

While Amazonians aren't human, these humanoid creatures resemble humans in appearance. Moreover, the opponent is not a demigod like Diana. Even if their defenses surpass ordinary people, they are still limited.

Enhanced by the Batsuit, even Solomon Grundy would feel pain from a punch from Batman, let alone a mere Amazonian.

Batman pressed his advantage, raising his fist and delivering a flurry of punches, turning Timäus's delicate nose into a swollen mess. Enraged, Timäus raised her leg to kick Batman in the waist.

Knowing he couldn't withstand the kick directly, Batman released the blade on his gauntlet, protected his waist, and used the momentum of Timäus's kick to increase the distance between them. The force of the kick surprised Batman, and he rolled across the ground to dissipate most of the impact.

Secretly shaking his numb arm, Batman had intended to throw a few explosive batarangs while creating distance, but her strength was truly astonishing. Even her hasty counterattack numbed Batman's defending arm, causing him to miss his chance to throw batarangs.

"I'll chop you to pieces!" Timäus was furious. How long had it been since she'd been made to look so foolish? She vowed to tear the human before her limb from limb.

But this was all a facade. Was Timäus angry? The answer was, undoubtedly, yes. Being struck in the face repeatedly by an enemy with far inferior physical ability would enrage anyone. But Timäus knew that impotent rage was useless. In battle, everything must become a means of attack.

Anger was no exception. Everyone knew anger could cloud reason. At such times, opponents become vulnerable. So Timäus chose to disguise herself with anger, feigning weakness to lure her enemy, waiting for Batman to lower his guard and then strike decisively.

But she faced Batman, a man with eyes in the back of his head. He might do many things, but lowering his guard against an enemy was not one of them.

Quietly pressing a button on his belt, Batman hooked a finger at Timäus, the provocation clear.

Timäus sneered inwardly, but outwardly maintained her enraged facade and charged towards Batman. But as she charged halfway, a feeling of impending doom welled up in her heart, and goosebumps erupted across her skin.

Instinctively, she halted her footsteps. A black shadow plummeted from the air, crashing onto the ground with a deafening boom, shattering the ground and sending up a cloud of smoke.

Timäus broke out in a cold sweat. Though she didn't know what had fallen, the sheer force of the impact made it clear that continuing her charge would be disastrous.

Fear of the unknown put Timäus on high alert in place. The fate of her compatriot who had rashly entered the smoke was still fresh in her mind. Timäus, who considered herself superior to those compatriot, wouldn't repeat their mistake.

Batman wouldn't keep her waiting long. Even before the smoke fully cleared, Timäus spotted a flicker of red light within. Before she could react, a towering black figure burst through the smoke and stood before her.

In a panic, Timäus only registered the opponent's scarlet V-shaped eyes and the massive Bat Symbol emblazoned on its chest.

Timäus instinctively raised her shield, but the opponent's massive fist slammed into it, sending her flying backwards. She crashed into a nearby car, overturning it, and found herself trapped within the wreckage.

Struggling to extricate herself from the car, Timäus finally saw the monster charging towards her. Pitch-black plating covered the entire armor, and scarlet electric current crackled around the opened gauntlet. This was the armor Batman had specifically designed for small-scale war and superhuman threats – the Justice Buster Armor.

This armor had been destroyed in a previous encounter with the Court of Owls assassin – Talon. But this armor, which Batman considered his most practical design, had naturally been rebuilt long ago.

Moreover, based on information gathered from the Talon encounter, Batman had comprehensively upgraded the Justice Buster Armor, removing some impractical function and adding several new ones.

For instance, the armor's power output had been significantly increased. The armor, once overwhelmed by five or six Talon, could now contend with Hawkman. Sending an Amazonian flying with a punch was now a simple matter.

Timäus gritted her teeth, wanting to charge Batman again, but Mero, who had appeared at her side, stopped her.

"Don't be reckless, Timäus. This is not an opponent you can face alone." Mero's face was solemn. "We need to hunt him together. This will be our most challenging hunt yet."

Through the armor's onboard computer, Batman noticed the Amazonian he'd just knocked down had risen and, without a word, they had formed an encirclement around him.

Like an encirclement for hunting beasts.

Chapter 413 Return to Paradise Island

"This is Batman."

Batman sat on the scrapped Long-Tail Shark Armor, contacting other members of the Justice League through the Communication Device.

"I have arrested a Squad of Amazonians here. Green Arrow and I will bring them back to the Hall of Justice later. Is anyone stationed at the Hall now?"

"Seriously, is our Bet still on?" Green Arrow slid down on a Rope and landed beside Batman.

Ten minutes. That's how long it took Batman to defeat all the Amazonians. This efficiency is astonishing. An armed Amazon Squad can basically participate in a Small-Scale War, but Batman alone could achieve victory in just ten minutes. It can only be described as terrifyingly powerful. But the price is also visible. The Long-Tail Shark Armor, which had just been upgraded and rebuilt, was scrapped again. However, the Long-Tail Shark Armor was destroyed once by the swarming Talon, and another time by a fully armed Amazon Squad, and both times it achieved victory. It can be said that it died a worthy death.

Facing Green Arrow's question, Batman did not answer. He was still waiting for replies from others on the Communication Channel.

"This is Superman..." "This is Wonder Woman!"

Superman had just spoken on the Communication Channel when Wonder Woman drowned him out with an even louder voice. Hearing her friend's vigorous voice, Superman and Batman immediately understood that she had cheered up again. While excited, they also listened intently to the second half of her Words.

"Witch Circe's Conspiracy is to launch all of America's Nuclear Bombs!"

The Super Heroes in the Communication Channel all shuddered after hearing these Words. Even for them, such a simple yet crazy Plan was something they hadn't heard in a long time.

Batman, who was in Washington, immediately looked towards the White House in response.

---Earlier---

Diana, blessed by Hermes, returned to Themyscira in the blink of an eye. After passing through the Shield, she saw her Hometown again after many months. At this Time, its appearance was vastly different from what she remembered.

The originally simple Ancient Greek Style Architecture had now become Egyptian Style. This meant that the Lost Amazon Tribe's rule over this place had been going on for a long Time.

Diana couldn't help but feel ashamed at this Scene. The main Reason for all of this was her own incompetence. If she could have nipped this in the bud, or woken up sooner, things wouldn't have gotten to this point.

Clearing the cluttered thoughts from her Brain, Diana's Gaze was unprecedentedly firm. It was useless to dwell on past mistakes now. It was better to focus on the present Business to make up for her errors.

"Halt! Who is it!" The Patrol Team quickly discovered Diana. Her Armor shone brightly in the afterglow of dusk. Her black hair fluttered in the wind as she strode towards the Main City.

"It's Diana! Capture her quickly!"

After clearly seeing who it was, the Patrol Team members were overjoyed. Not long ago, the Queen was furious because Diana had escaped. If they captured her at this Time, wouldn't it be a great achievement?

In an instant, dust flew up, and a large number of Cavalry launched a Charge towards Diana. Facing the Cavalry charging towards her, Diana was not afraid at all. Instead, she raised her hands, and a pair of golden Armbands rested on them.

These were part of the Armor Yang Le had made for her. Her original Guardian Silver Bracelets had been confiscated along with other Equipment when she was defeated by Troy. This was also the Reason why this Patrol Team dared to attack head-on.

Although Amazonians have the habit of wearing Silver Bracelets, the Silver Bracelets worn by ordinary Amazonians cannot be confused with the Guardian Silver Bracelets worn by Diana. The Guardian Silver Bracelets were forged by the God Hephaestus using the Aegis Shield as raw material. They could not only protect Diana from being hurt by Weapons, but also activate Guardian Divine Power when the two Silver Bracelets collided.

Yang Le had to admit that it was indeed difficult to surpass something created by this God of Fire in the short term, but Yang Le could achieve a similar Effect.

And Yang Le's answer was the Golden Bracelets Diana was wearing now.

"Clang!"

A sound like a great bell appeared the moment the pair of Golden Bracelets collided. A huge Ripple spread forward in a fan shape at a rapid Speed, enveloping the entire Patrol Team.

After the Ripple enveloped them, everyone in the Patrol Team immediately felt dizzy. After a brief period of dizziness, they found that their Bodies could not move. Not only that, but even the Horses ridden by the Patrol Team were the same. One second they were still running, and the next second their Bodies stiffened, and they began to fall forward due to Inertia.

This was the Effect of this pair of Golden Bracelets. Yang Le did not remove the Ability to imprison Demigods from the Shackles, but instead turned it into a Weapon hidden in the Golden Bracelets. As long as the two Golden Bracelets collided, the Imprisonment Power would be released. According to Yang Le's Test, even a True God with Godhood would be affected. (Referring to Yang Le himself).

Diana jumped expressionlessly over the fallen Patrol Team and continued running towards the Royal City.

Along the way, Diana encountered many obstacles, but the Imprisonment Golden Bracelets could handle them all. Diana just went on, knocking and hitting, high-profilely announcing her return. And this Scene was also seen by some Amazonians who were being used as Laborers.

"That's... Diana!?" Philippus, Covered in wounds, looked in Surprise at the Amazon Princess displaying her divine power.

Circe had not leaked the News of her escape. In addition, Diana had lived a "low-profile" Life for several months. All the Amazonians thought Diana was still imprisoned in the Prison, and they even secretly discussed rescuing Diana and gathering all Amazonians to launch a counterattack.

Unexpectedly, she didn't need to be rescued and had already broken out. Not only that, but she was also going on a rampage in the Royal City occupied by the Lost Amazon Tribe. Could there be such a good thing?

Seeing this Scene, Philippus looked fiercely at the Guard of the Laborers in front of her. The Guard was currently facing away from her, guarding against Diana attacking the Guardhouse on this side. After months of bullying and Philippus's forbearance, the Guard had obviously forgotten about these Laborers behind her, who were originally all experienced Amazon Warriors.

Philippus grabbed the Chain on the Shackles and looped it around the Guard's neck. The Guard tried to resist in panic but was firmly locked by Philippus. Unfortunately, Philippus hadn't had a Full Meal for months and was no match for the energetic Guard.

But this Guardhouse didn't only have Philippus as a Laborer. When the other Amazonians saw their Captain suddenly rebel, they immediately responded and rushed forward, actually locking all five limbs of the Guard.

"Three, two..." Philippus directly counted down. The other Amazonians immediately understood and waited for the final number to arrive.

"One!"

"Rip!"

The countdown ended, and the unnamed Amazonians exerted force at the same Time, ending the Life of the Guard.

Chapter 414 Final Battle

Since the Lost Amazon Tribe occupied Paradise Island, it seems that not only the people, but the entire Island became slaves. Only today, when Diana returned to Paradise Island and fought her way back, did it finally regain its vitality.

The conspicuous Diana attracted not only Philippus and her group of Amazons, but also most of the other Amazons who were either imprisoned or enslaved noticed the performance of their Tribal Princess.

This undoubtedly cheered up those Amazons. The sound of Diana clashing her Golden Bracelets was like a battle horn being blown. The Amazons responded one after another, using everything they could reach to launch a counterattack against the enemy.

Chains, hoes, pitchforks, and even fists and teeth. They would not let their Princess fight alone. Although they were exhausted at this time, they would at least clear obstacles for their Princess.

Queen against Queen, general against general. Hippolyta is dead, so Diana is the nominal first heir of Paradise Island and the new Queen. Then her opponent should rightfully be the other Queen.

Diana looked at another guard blocking her path, and patiently prepared to use her Golden Bracelets again. But she heard rapid hoofbeats coming from behind. Thinking enemies were catching up, she immediately turned around to check, only to find that it was a cavalry unit, and the one leading was Philippus.

"Princess!" Philippus stood up on her war horse, forcefully pushed off with her legs and jumped towards Diana's front. In the process of leaping, she also drew the standard sword of the Lost Amazon Tribe and slashed down without explanation.

"Whoosh!"

After a sharp sound of air being torn, a Lost Amazonian fell to the ground. The other Amazons riding war horses also caught up at this time.

"Although I would very much like to express my joy, now is clearly not the time for reminiscing." Philippus and the other Amazons formed a formation, protecting Diana behind them.

"We are here, Princess, please continue forward."

"Thank you, Philippus." Diana did not waste time, leaping over the crowd and continuing to run towards the Royal Palace.

"Listen up, Amazonian Sisters!" Philippus shouted loudly. "Guard the rear for our Princess!"

The response was deafening for a time.

Not only Philippus, but with the help of all the Amazons who had escaped, Diana finally got rid of the guards' pursuit and interception, and arrived at the front of the Royal Palace unimpeded all the way.

Quickly defeating the guards at the doorway, Diana finally entered the Amazon Royal Palace, which was incredibly familiar to her, but now everything was different. Walking into the Throne Room, she saw Troy, who was already fully armed, at first glance.

"I must commend you," Troy slowly walked down from the Throne. "As a down-and-out dog, you still have the courage to come back and cause such a big commotion. I have to say, you are indeed capable."

"Where is Circe?" Diana ignored Troy's mockery, and pressed for the whereabouts of the culprit of all this.

Troy's gaze went past Diana, looking outside the Royal Palace. At this moment, the entire Paradise Island was boiling, and a riot for freedom was underway.

"I said long ago that those disobedient Amazonians should be killed," Troy said with disgust.

Hearing Troy say this, Diana's eyebrows immediately shot up, but after closing her eyes and taking a few deep breaths, Diana's expression returned to peaceful once again.

"To be honest, before coming here, I hadn't been able to completely let go, but now I finally understand," Diana reopened her eyes, her gaze as firm as a knife.

Troy did not speak, just tilted her head, as if not understanding what Diana was talking about?

"You cannot be my mother," Diana assumed a fighting gesture. "She loved her subjects very much. A Queen could never say such words. It's laughable that I only understand this now."

"What exactly are you talking about?" Troy revealed a trace of doubt.

"I'll explain it to you slowly after I defeat you." Having figured everything out, Diana looked relaxed, and the Valkyrie who was once indomitable had returned.

"Bang!"

As soon as the words fell, Diana had already rushed in front of Troy. Such speed made Troy feel shocked. Diana's current speed far exceeded her speed during their first fight. If Troy's spirit had not been extremely focused, she would not have been able to block this first attack.

Looking at Troy, who was facing a formidable enemy, Diana gradually increased the power in her hand. Troy, who was resisting with both arms, was actually suppressed by Diana with just one hand.

"This is impossible!" Troy said laboriously.

"Nothing is impossible." Diana pressed down hard, and Troy immediately knelt on one knee on the ground. The ground wailed and countless cracks appeared.

"I am Diana! The Princess of the Amazon, the child of Zeus! The Goddess of Agriculture Demeter bestowed upon me power no less than Hercules's!"

Diana gave up applying pressure, withdrew her arm, and took advantage of the moment Troy lost strength to kick her out. Not only that, she herself even caught up with the flying Troy just by running.

"The God Hermes bestowed upon me speed!"

Surpassing the flying Troy, Diana punched Troy into the ground again. The magnificent Royal Palace began to shake, almost collapsing due to this punch.

Before the splashing dust had settled, the disheveled Troy had already climbed up from the ground, drew the Sword of Hephaestus she had snatched from Diana, and slashed at its original master.

Facing this sword that cuts through everything, Diana did not waver at all, leisurely dodging Troy's several attacks. Slashes and thrusts, Troy couldn't touch Diana even once.

"The Goddess of Hunting Artemis bestowed upon me super senses. Your movements in my eyes are full of weakness, just like a child who just picked up a sword."

As Diana spoke, she took the lead and grabbed Troy's right hand holding the sword. With a flip of her wrist, she snatched the Sword of Hephaestus, and then kicked out again, sending Troy flying out once more.

Flourishing the sword, Diana casually threw the Sword of Hephaestus in her hand. The sword completely sank into the ground, leaving only the hilt exposed outside.

Having discarded the Divine Weapon forged by Hephaestus, Diana drew the sword Yang Le had forged for her with her backhand. Although this sword is currently not comparable to the Sword of Hephaestus that can cut atoms, Diana wanted to use it more at this time.

"Stand up!" Diana pointed the sword tip at Troy. "Don't let the blood on your body be shamed."

Troy did not speak, panting heavily as she climbed up from the ground, and tremblingly drew another sword from behind her, the sword Circe had prepared for her.

"I'll ask one last time, where is Circe?" Diana asked sternly.

Troy got into a stance and said, "Don't even think about it."

Seeing Troy stubbornly resist, Diana had no method but to prepare to take her down and then think of other methods.

(End of Chapter)

Chapter 415 Stagnation

Although Troy had quite a few bruises, her Demigod physique's Recovery Ability meant that these injuries, none of which exceeded her Body Threshold, hadn't actually affected her fundamentally and wouldn't hinder her Actions.

This time, Troy wasn't going to sit idly by and wait for her Death. Wanting to seize the Initiative, she drew her Sword and charged at Diana. In the blink of an eye, she was already in front of Diana, her Hand movements decisive and clean as she swung her Sword without hesitation.

Diana saw through Troy's intention, and with a backhand motion, she blocked Troy's strike with her Sword. Adding a touch of finesse, she knocked Troy's Sword aside. The Sword spun a Lap in her Hand, returning to a forward grip, and she slashed down from above.

Troy retreated a few steps to evade the slash, then pressed forward again, seizing the opening while Diana was still recovering from her attack to launch her own Attack. But Diana's Speed was simply too fast. Hermes's Blessing hadn't just enhanced her movement Speed; her reaction and thinking Speeds were also greatly amplified.

Facing Diana, who seemed flawless in every Direction, Troy felt powerless for the first time. Even when she spotted a Weakness and tried to Attack, Diana would intercept her Attack a split-second before she could strike.

This wasn't just about being one step ahead anymore; this was a pure Physical Fitness beatdown.

Unable to break through, Troy inevitably grew impatient, and her attacks became even more ferocious. In just a few Seconds, the two exchanged dozens of Sword strikes. The clang of metal on metal was incessant, like being inside a blacksmith's workshop.

The frequent clashes made the blades of their Swords incredibly hot, but Diana's Sword had been forged by Yang Le from the Chains that had bound a Demigod. It was the culmination of his current Technology, and clearly wouldn't be damaged by a fight of this caliber.

And while the origin of the Weapon in Troy's Hand was unknown, it was clearly no ordinary item. At least, it appeared undamaged, though the person wielding it was starting to have a slight Problem.

In just one minute, they had already exchanged hundreds of blows. Troy felt her hand going numb and her arms aching and swollen. Compared to her, Diana seemed to be handling the fight effortlessly.

Blessing of the Gods, kid.

Troy was suffering in silence. She had initiated the attack, but now she was not only on the defensive but also unable to disengage. Diana pressed her relentlessly with an even more ferocious assault. If Troy relaxed for even a moment, she would be overwhelmed and turned into Mincemeat.

Under Diana's relentless, storm-like Attack, Troy finally couldn't hold on any longer. Her Hands could barely grip her Sword. Diana seized the Opportunity, flicked the Sword from her grasp, and then pressed her own Sword against Troy's neck.

"You lost," Diana stated the fact with a Peaceful Face. "Now tell me where Circe is?"

"I told you," Troy said, her Head lowered so her Expression was hidden. "No way!"

No sooner had she spoken than Troy lunged straight at the Sword Point. Diana, wanting to extract information, naturally didn't want Troy to die, and quickly withdrew her Sword. But then, Troy unexpectedly stumbled in the opposite Direction, towards Diana.

Not understanding Troy's intention, Diana had to step back. As she retreated, she saw clearly: a Rope had appeared in Troy's Hand. That Rope was incredibly familiar to her; it was one of her original pieces of Equipment – the Lasso of Truth.

Diana's Expression changed instantly, her face lighting up with joy. This was a stroke of incredible luck, like a Pillow appearing just when you were sleepy, a pie falling from the sky! She had been worried about not being able to extract any useful information.

Diana threw her Sword towards Troy's Head. She knew that Troy, by pulling out the Lasso of Truth, still intended to fight back. Someone like that wouldn't have a Death wish. She was sure Troy would dodge.

Just as Diana predicted, Troy tilted her Head to dodge. Diana seized the Opportunity to rush forward, grabbing Troy's Hands before she could react. She hooked her long right Leg behind Troy's Legs and brought her crashing to the ground.

With one Hand pinning Troy down, Diana used her other Hand to grab the other end of the Lasso of Truth and bind Troy with it instead. It was virtually impossible for someone Controlled by the Lasso of Truth to break free on their own, and Troy was clearly no exception.

Releasing the Hand that Controlled Troy, Diana pulled Troy up with the Lasso of Truth and asked again: "Where is Circe? What Conspiracy does she have?"

"She should have gone to Washington. She made an Agreement with Klarion the Witch Boy to launch all the Nuclear Bombs to Attack various Nations in the World to trigger World War, so as to make the entire Earth fall into Chaos."

Under the Lasso of Truth's Ability, Troy confessed everything she knew in detail, even against her will.

Hearing Troy's Words, Diana's Expression changed greatly. Not daring to waste Time, she quickly contacted the others in the Justice League. She was now in Paradise Island, and it would definitely be too late to rush back to Washington. She could only pin her Hope on others.

Outside Paradise Island, Klarion the Witch Boy with a peculiar hairstyle watched everything that happened. When Diana instigated her Tribesmen to riot, Klarion the Witch Boy was happy because that would cause Chaos. But when Diana asked about his Plan and told it to others, Klarion the Witch Boy was unhappy.

"I've waited months for this day, and I won't let that Amazon Princess ruin my plans." Klarion the Witch Boy released the Kitty in his arms, raised his Palm, and prepared to Attack Diana, who was contacting the Justice League.

"The dignified Lord of Chaos only knows how to play some petty tricks."

The sudden Sound startled Klarion the Witch Boy. He hadn't even noticed anyone approaching. Klarion the Witch Boy immediately turned around and saw a Cyan Energy Body encased in Metal Armor. In what seemed to be the Head Position, there was also a Mask of a peculiar design.

"Who are you?" Klarion the Witch Boy hid one Hand behind his back, where vicious Magic was already gathering, ready to send this strange Lifeform to Hell at the slightest provocation.

"Before I answer you, you might as well answer my question first." Yang Le spread out his Hands. "What do I look like in your eyes?"

What kind of question was that? Klarion the Witch Boy looked at Yang Le in Puzzlement. The other's appearance hadn't changed at all because of his words; he still looked the same as before.

Ignoring the other's mysterious act, Klarion the Witch Boy lost interest in talking to Yang Le. Taking advantage of what he thought was an opening, he unleashed the Magic he had prepared. He couldn't wait to see Yang Le's reaction.

At least, that's how it seemed from his perspective, but what Yang Le saw was completely different.

In Yang Le's eyes, Klarion the Witch Boy, wearing an Evil Smile of smug satisfaction, launched the Purple Energy Ball from his Palm. As the Energy Ball left his Hand, it seemed like some change was about to occur, but that change was destined to never happen.

Because he and his Magic were forever "frozen" in this Space.
