United Nations General Assembly Building, Earth 2028
Panic erupts in the room as they realize that they are now at the mercy of this woman. Everyone quickly attempts to leave the room only to realize that it's been covered by vines and a tall man, also wearing a type of face mask, is blocking the exit.
"As you will soon realize there is no escape I advise you all to listen to what I have to say." The mysterious woman says as all the guns in the room begin floating and taking aim at everyone in the room. "Please."
Frightened, all the people in the room return to their seats, while the firearms ominously aim at them.
"Now if you would let me finish. Magic is real, and it is the fastest way to save yourselves from certain destruction," she looks off into the distance, "but it is also much more dangerous for a civilization that hasn't used magic properly."
"This is what I introduce to you." A projection appears out of thin air of a rotating reddish purple circle. "This is your solution. This is a gate to Purgatory. It is not to be confused with a gate to hell."
The projection changes from the circle to a large cylinder with tubes and wires connected to it. The projection then grows with one larger a the center and many smaller ones surrounding it.
"This device here is what shall be used to hold the energy we get from Purgatory. The actual method to contain the energy has not been fully developed so this will have to work for now. At the center of it will be the main power bank. That will hold the majority of the energy generated."
The large cylinder in the middle changes color from a gray to red. "When the main container is at seventy-five percent capacity it will then start trickling down to the small containers This is to prevent overflow in cases where too much energy is released."
All of the smaller containers slowly start to also change color until all of them are red. After everyone in the room sees the projection, it slowly begins to dissipate into the air like it was never there to begin with. All the guns in the room have their magazines removed magically, and any ammo with the gun is ejected before it all falls to the floor.
"If anyone is interested in this opportunity my card is on your table." She snaps her fingers and a small fire appears on all the tables in the room before a small card appears. "All you have to do is rip that card and I will find a way to contact you."
She releases the vines covering the door, and the vines holding Dustin. As she does this she makes her way to stand next to the guy in the mask. She looks at him before they both are swallowed by flames and vines as they then disappear from the room like ghosts.
As soon as the final embers fizzle out the tension in the room releases and a few people collapse in relief from the sudden shock of all the new information. The guards scramble to find their weapons despite all the chaos that surrounds them.
Slowly everyone comes to their senses and looks at the business card left on the desk. It has red roses on the border of it and the name 'Celeste' written in cursive in the middle. A few members of the union pick up the card and quickly put it in their pocket, while others look at it with fear.
Dustin also picks up the card and carefully looks at it. "Celeste. Hmmm." He carefully considers what to do with the card before pulling out his wallet and placing it inside.
