Please spare m—!"

The man's desperate cry was cut short as a tentacle lashed forward, slicing straight through him. His body split in two, organs and blood spilling out across the steel cold paining it bloody red. Gunfire erupted from all sides, bullets tearing through the air toward the girl standing amid the carnage.

But none of the shots touched her.

Her blood-red tentacles moved with inhuman speed, deflecting the bullets effortlessly. Sparks flew as lead bounced harmlessly off the twisting, coiling limbs.

The girl Rize stood there, her ghost-white hair flowy down her face, As her eye contain a murderous glee in them. A grin stretched across her lips, wide and sharp, showing no shred of remorse for the lives, she is and had ended.

Why would she feel sorry for them? They were her food .

And food was meant to be eaten.

Another bullet whizzed past, threading through her hair as she tilted her head slightly, unbothered with any danger as any or all harm done by them will heal eventually so she advanced forward with slow, deliberate steps, her tentacles cutting through the hail of bullets and slicing down the guards firing them.

Screams echoed around her, a symphony of fear and agony that played sweet music to her ears.

She reveled in every second of it.

As she continued through the shattered corridors blood and gore covering it , Rize spotted him—the same man she had seen on her first day in the facility. The one who had overseen her imprisonment.

Now he was running for his life, sweat pouring down his face, pure terror twisting his features. In his trembling hand, he clutched a phone, screaming frantically into it, begging for someone—anyone—to save him.The voice on the other end barked something back, but it was too late.

looking at him and the desperation on his face Rize watched the scene unfolding as her face which was no longer go fill with joy was now fill with a blank, emotionless expression, her breathing eerily calm while killing another man Around her, her tentacles moved like living creatures, lashing out automatically, striking down anyone who tried to stand against her.Blood splattered the walls, but she barely blinked.

Then something shifted.

Her expression changed.

A flicker of something darkness crossed her face. Two of her tentacles suddenly snapped backward, slamming into the ground and launching her forward with terrifying speed—straight toward the fleeing man.

Like a living missile, she shot through the air, her bloodstained hair trailing behind her like a ghost's veil.

The man had no time to react.

With a wet slicing sound, Rize's tentacles shot straight through his legs, severing tendons and muscle like paper. He crumpled to the floor, screaming in agony, clutching the bloody stumps.

Rize loomed over him, a murderous grin stretching across her face.

"W-Wait! Wait, we can—!" the man stammered, desperation bleeding into his voice.

But before he cold even finished talking he was cut off as Rize grabbed him by the mouth with one of her hand, silencing him instantly as her black nail dig deeper in his skin blood flowing from his neck

Slowly, almost playfully, she raised one finger in front of his tear-filled eyes, wagging it in a "no-no" motion as she was disabling a child.

She leaned in, her breath hot against his skin, and whispered:

"You know… I haven't eaten anything since you brought me here," she said saliva drop from her teeth to the man shoulder. "I could've. I could've devoured all those people I killed just now. You know why I didn't?"

The man's eyes widened in sheer terror, his body trembling as Rize stick out her tongue an lick his neck like tasting it before her smile grew wider

"Because I wanted you to be my first," she whispered sweetly into his ear, almost lovingly."After all… you're the one who showed me what I really am."

She dragged his face closer to her mouth.

The man thrashed wildly, desperate to break free—but it was useless. Her grip was iron.

Chomp.

The sound of teeth sinking into flesh echoed through the blood-smeared hallway.

The man tried to scream, but only a broken, gurgling noise escaped his throat.Tears poured down his face as he felt himself being eaten alive, bite by agonizing bite.He didn't want to die. No—he wanted to live.He wanted to run.He wanted to beg for forgiveness.

But all he could think, again and again, was "I don't want to die... please..."

Regret crashed over him too late.

The man died easily just two or three bites, and it was over.

She continued devouring him with no hesitation, no remorse, no guilt. To her, he wasn't human anymore.

He was food.Meat to satisfy the endless hunger clawing inside her.

From flesh to organs, she consumed everything, ripping and tearing like an animal.

By the time she was finished, all that remained were scattered bones and the blood-smeared remnants of a face, frozen forever in silent terror.

Rize licked the blood from her fingertips, savoring it , her glowing eyes scanning the blood-soaked corridor.

A wicked grin crept across her face.

Without hesitation, she extended her tentacles—sending them slithering down the hall. They wrapped around the broken bodies of everyone she had killed today, dragging them back toward her like a hunter gathering her prizes.

Tonight, she was going to feast.

And she was going to enjoy every second of it.

Taskmaster moved cautiously through the ruined hallway, his boots crunching over broken glass and shell casings. The air stank of blood and smoke of gun fired .

His hand tightened around the hilt of his sword as he heard it:the wet, sickening sounds of flesh being torn apart.

And then… silence.

He rounded a corner, shield raised, sword ready——and stopped dead in his tracks.

Ahead of him, illuminated by the flickering emergency lights, was a girl.Or at least... something that used to be a girl. As no way in hell a girl could be eating a human right and have red tentacles coming from her back right ?

White hair like a ghost's veil spilled over her bloodstained face.Tentacles long, dripping, crimson-black things twitched hungrily at her back.Around her, the floor was littered with bones and shredded bodies.

In her hand, she clutched a severed arm, gnawing mindlessly at the flesh.Meanwhile, her tentacles slithered across the floor, grabbing other bodies and breaking them apart, tearing bone from bone as easily as snapping twigs.

Rize wasn't even looking at him—too absorbed in her grisly feast.

Taskmaster, hidden in the shadows, watched the scene unfold with a rare flicker of hesitation.Slowly, carefully, he started to back away, one step at a time, hoping to slip out unnoticed.

Crack.

The sound of his boot snapping a piece of bone echoed through the blood-soaked hallway.

Rize's head snapped up.

Her glowing crimson eyes locked onto him, and for a moment—just a moment—Taskmaster felt something alien crawl down his spine.

She stared at him.

Silent.Unblinking.

Then, casually, as if waving at an old friend, she lifted her blood-soaked hand toward him...

...before turning her attention back to the pile of corpses, ripping into them without a second thought, completely unbothered by his presence.

Like he was no threat at all.

Like he was nothing.
