The reporter's comment was panicked, conveying the fear and dread he is feeling, but he is not the only one, because every viewer that witnessed such atrocity, is aware of the ugly truth, this carnage has barely started.
With their primary target eliminated, the squids turn into different directions, engaging in combat against the Helicopters deployed by three of the most powerful Nations in Karmdaris.
The fight is pretty much one sided during the first seconds; The Helicopters are relatively easy prey for the squids, as the aspects of the vehicles are far inferior to the natural capabilities that the Creatures have shown.
The situation does not stay unperturbed, as the Fighter Jets join into the fray, making use of supersonic missiles impulsed and packed with a good amount of Nuvlierz Energy.
Nevertheless, the supersonic missiles are limited, and they quickly disappear from the battle zone.
The combat that follows is frenetic, and to face their new enemies, the Pilots have to close the distance, entering into a Dogfight in which they clearly have many disadvantages.
Less maneuverability, slower acceleration, not to mention their incapacity to withstand the melee hits delivered by the squid's tentacles.
These are the biggest adversities the Pilots have to deal with, and fortunately for them, they are not alone, as the Spaceship of Venxeria is taking charge of eliminating the Colossal Squid.
Making its way towards the beast, the Spaceship fires a laser of Nuvlierz Energy, piercing the Creature's Revetment and cauterizing a hole in the Colossal Squid.
With this opening, the Spaceship launches a hypersonic missile, striking the beast and ripping off a fifth of the Creature's body.
{An Aircraft Carrier would have sunk with either of those two shots!}
Still, what drags the most attention is not the vigorous vitality of the beast, if not the whitish smoke that is now gushing out of the large hole in the ground.
{I have seen a fog like that before}
Dackör looks away from the Tv screen, staring at Dulladnne, who has the same surprised face after watching the fog that took them from the strange environment towards Krämdaris.
The broadcast is abruptly replaced by a National Emergency Alert, an absolute rarity in the Country of Guryian.
But what is worse, is the sudden shortage of power, turning off the television along the lights in the apartment.
"My smartphone is dead, weird, I am sure the battery was almost full".
Dulladnne's comment spikes up the short young man alertness, and with a quick glance, Dackör sees the screen of his smartphone, black, which should be impossible.
{It was not a blackout, if not a type of Electromagnetic Pulse}
Reaching into his backpack, Dackör transfers Nuvlierz Energy into his Pistol's battery, filling the magazine which has a capacity of four Natural Cells.
{This is not going to be enough, If electricity doesn't return, Nuvlierz Energy will be our only source of power, and once said option becomes scarce, conflict will be inevitable}
"Time to move out"; Says Dackör as he stands up from Aullura's back, advancing to the apartment's open door.
A tall man is going out from the next apartment, blocking the short young man's way out.
"Are you leaving?"; Inquires the man with a noticeable madness in his red bloodshot eyes.
"After what the news show?, Or the blackout?, Teenagers this days are too impressionable or careless, don't be like them".

The man is carrying a shotgun, aiming it at Dackör's chest "No electricity, means no surveillance or the annoying shackle that reminds me to keep the 3 meters of distance stipulated in my restraining order".
{So it was not a mere roleplay from Dulladnne, she really was asking me for protection}
"The benefits of having judges as friends is not always enough to get you out of all the troubles"; Comments the madman as he pumps the shotgun mechanism.
{If he is carrying a normal shotgun, there is no real danger for me, but if this guy has access to Nuvlierz Energy enhanced ammo, well, that is going to be really painful}
Without hesitation, Dackör takes out the Pistol inside of his backpack, shooting with fast and deadly precision, hitting the invasor right in the middle of his nose, killing him right on the spot and sending him backwards towards his own apartment.
The corpse has an auto reflex, shooting back towards Dackör, the short young man receives about twenty pellets propelled by Nuvlierz Energy.
Of course, this is not enough to hurt Dackör, but each impact of the pellets is worse than a paintball bullet.
{Propellent mixed with Nuvlierz Energy, *Sigh*, I keep forgetting about this new technique, well, is pretty much illegal, and less powerful than a real enhanced ammo, or a full fledged shot of Nuvlierz Energy}
"I have a safe house"; Reveals Dackör, correcting himself a second later "Well, it is more like a hut that almost counts as a cabin, it is not so deep into the woods, and there are some others residencies around there, so is not completely secluded, but is better than being here".
Aullura is recovering from seeing the Man that almost assaulted her once, while Dulladnne is relaxed, the Madman kept bothering her to know about Aullura's whereabouts, which obviously weren't known by the mature woman.
"I will give you 20 minutes to decide My Knightess, pack only what is necessary and food that does not require refrigeration".
Dackör leaves Dulladnne's apartment, confiscating the man's shotgun along with the ammunition he has available.
Forthwith, the short young man enters the Madman's apartment, seeing so many photographs of Aullura that it is actually disturbing.
Stealing two more boxes of shotgun ammunition, Dackör heads to his apartment, grabbing a backpack he has for emergencies.
Which contains everything the Guryian government expects its responsible citizens to have in case of a disaster, including an Assault Rifle.
{It took me three years of waiting to receive authorization from Guryian to have this Assault Rifle from Venxeria, *Sigh*, It is supposed to be used only in case of a war, but I am not going to risk it… , What if someone else enters in my apartment and uses this against others… , Not happening, especially when I can make a better use of this beautiful weapon}
Once ready, Dackör advances to Punchy Fatty's apartment, seeing that there is no one at home.
Then, the short young man goes back to check on Dulladnne and Aullura, both are now ready to depart, which is way Dackör takes them to his vehicle, the Vexaryon V-X-N, driving the two Ladies towards the woods…
