"Can you guide us there?" Alex asked the fairies.
His question made nearly all of them flinch.
"It's not only the Bad Tiger who prowls near the graves," Poppy replied. "The Dryad and her kin also live nearby. they are also very annoying!"
"Worse, an ugly ape also goes there often to take a nap!" Dewdrop complained. "We used to live there, but those bullies chased us out!"
All the fairies nodded in agreement, their faces filled with injustice. After careful observation, Alex noticed all of them were Rank 2.
He thought this was the reason why they were forced to the outer edges of the forest. Weaker monsters usually had no choice but to leave the depths of the forest. Staying meant risking being hunted down by stronger monsters.
But this wasn't the case with the fairies.
"No one from Shadow Forest dares to kill us," Poppy said. "Anyone who dares will get cursed and die in a few days."
