A confident smile lingered on Chuck's face as his gaze swept through the five mages.
His reaction evoked a frown from the face of his older brother, Caspian, who turned to the four mages behind him.
"Don't interfere," Caspian ordered. "I'll personally teach my brother the ways of magic. Anyone who makes a move will be attacked."
The four nobles nodded in understanding and eased up a bit.
Caspian then glanced back at his brother.
"Are you ready, little brother?" Caspian asked in a tone filled with disdain.
"This Sir is born ready," Chuck answered. "Are you sure you don't want those four mongrels to help you attack me? You'll regret it if you go alone."
"Shut up." Caspian pointed his staff at Chuck. "I've long wished to teach you a lesson. After this spar is over, you will understand your place."
"Understand my place?" Chuck smirked. "I'd like to see you try."
Professor Isolde and Professor Nixie exchanged a quick glance, then nodded at the same time.
