Chapter 6 - Loved By Qi...

We flew using flying swords, Lianhua brought with her. It was quite the experience riding this things for the first time, I felt freer than I ever had.

Using the totem qi transmission, I talked to Lianhua, 'you never did tell me, where is this Inheritance Realm situated?'

'You'll see,' she replied mysteriously.

The way she said that, reminded me of my little mischievous brat, Catalina, she was always up to no good. Always making it her life's mission to prank me.

I could only sigh, knowing this trip won't end well for me. Well, when push comes to shove, I'll just remove my veil and hat and Charm my way out of trouble.

I had decided not to use my greatest advantage, since I'm in desperate need of combat experience. And I have yet to meet someone who I can safely Charm their experience for myself.

I believe with my Charm, there's no one who can defeat me, but I am no idiot, things in the cultivation world are always mysterious. I might have a heaven defying Physique, but unlike the main character, I don't have the greatest cheat of them all—plot armour.

If I had that, there's no way, I wouldn't do however I pleased, because I would somehow be able to get away with it. But even the main character has her fair share of challenges, she can always survive but everyone around her will always die.

That's her curse, you would need to have a strong mental fortitude to choose the life of the main character. It's true they have plot armour, but unfortunately it doesn't work on their mental and emotional health.

Shaking my head from this meaningless thoughts, I focused down ahead. I saw a small village, with kids running around, laughing, women doing their chores, men on the other hand missing except for a handful with weapons on them.

Good thing I took the time to learn about the geography of the outskirts of the Central Plains, where there's trouble of Beasts or Demonic monster attacks.

So I knew that most men in this parts are hunters, of two kinds. The first kind hunts for game of smaller or larger animals. Then there's those who hunt and exterminate Magical Beast and Demonic Monsters.

Those of the second kind are called Martial Artist and in some parts like the Buddha Forest, they are called Exorcists.

This Martial Artists are a handful of men who will never amount to anything other than the Foundation Layer, never hoping to advance to higher stages. So more than anything this people shouldn't be underestimated because where they lack they compensate with their intelligence and cunning.

We flew past the village, and kept flying to no end in sight. I was beginning to get bored when Lianhua finally communicated with me, saying, 'I think we should rest up in those woods for the night.'

I looked down and saw a bunch of trees, and immediately refuted, 'No!'

But she pretended not to hear me as she dragged me down, well not really, she descended towards the woods and I followed behind, because what was I going to do.

We reached a small clearing and got off our flying swords and gracefully stepped on to the ground. I folded my arms beneath my chest, with a strained smile, I said "explain."

She had the nerve to look at me with those pale white eyes, giving a confused look like she didn't know what I was talking about. I motioned with my head what I was talking about and she simply nodded, nothing else. The nerve.

With a frustrated huff, I walked away, leaving her and the flying there. She spoke to me through the totem, but I ignored her. I didn't know where I was going, but hopefully somewhere with a stream and far away from her.

Not wanting to aimlessly walk, I closed my eyes, and tried to feel the Qi all around me. I sensed Qi of all kind, Earth Qi, Plant Qi, Wind Qi and slightly faint Metal Qi, which I judged to be because of metal ore buried deep underground.

I felt searing Flame Qi underground leading all the way to a volcanic mountain east from here, but I ignored it, as I moved towards the place Water Qi was most abundant.

I hurried that direction as if my life depended on it, and when I got there, and saw a sight of a naked man, floating above the water, channeling Water Qi his body.

His strange life-like tattoo's glowed with Mystic and wonder, as he hogged all the Qi for himself. Sensing my presence he slowly opened his eyes, and he vigilantly stared at me with his pupil-less blue eyes.

They seemed like the rushing tied of an ocean, hypnotising in a way that drew you in, almost like my Falling Abyss.

"Hey, did you see any fish while flashing yourself to them?" I asked curiously, as I headed for the stream and looked inside, seeing not a one fish.

I felt his eyes on me, but not answering. I sighed, having been expecting to catch some fish to eat.

Seeing as there was nothing else to do, and I wasn't going back to Lianhua, I decided to seat near the stream with a lotus position and and meditate.

Awakening an Innate Physique like the Jade Body Physique comes with many benefits, because it bends reality to its whim. And comes with Innate Techniques like Falling Abyss, which does more than Charm people into being in love with me.

But because of that, my refined Qi, which is the Qi of a Specific Force that has been refined into just Qi and is stored into my Resonance Core drains faster using any of my Innate Techniques, which are five of them.

The Second Innate Technique—Loved By Qi, is an exceedingly useful Technique in any case, because it targets the pure nature of any Qi I set my sights on, for example the Water Qi I'm trying to gather, comes from a Crystallised Qi entirely composed of Water Qi particles.

What I'll target aren't the scattered Qi particles, but the Crystallized Qi itself, which also means, I take everything until there's nothing left. It's the reason why I have been reluctant in cultivating in the Sect, and the reason why I still haven't reached the peak Early-Stage of Resonance Awakening in my Sword Force.

To cultivate there, I would call attention to myself with the amount of Sword Qi particles I would attract.

I was going to begin my cultivation before a sudden thought hit me, I opened my left eye and turned towards the mysterious man floating above the water, still looking at me.

Even though my face was covered, my body was still voluptuous, still exuding the intoxicating fragrance that contained Charm laws, that I was too weak to peek into their insights.

Which meant this person was smitten with me without even realising it, that's why he couldn't take his eyes of me, and return to cultivating as he has already sensed I'm nowhere strong enough to contest with him.

"Hey, what's your name?"

His strange eyes, tried to pierce my veil, restless as he wondered whether to answer my question or not. But ultimately, I was simply too irresistible.

"Lin Qiming "Awakening Light."

I have to say, I know how to pick them, whether it's Lianhua or this guy, both of them aren't much the talking type, yet conveniently they are the only ones I found interesting because their eyes told me they have a lot of stories to tell.

"My name is Lu Xianyu, nice to meet you, so Qiming, do you want to make a bet? If I win I get your strongest Water Combat Technique, if you win I'll give you myself, all of me, so what say you?"

Qiming remained in quiet thought over my words, before nodding to himself, "what kind of bet?"

"I bet that I can drain all the water Qi scattered here, until there's nothing left, do you believe it?"

You see while cultivators have known about the existence of Crystallised Qi for awhile, they are as intangible to them as Fate, Time Or Luck. And only truly big shot have managed to see them, not even touch. And shared their knowledge with the world.

So claiming to being able to drain Qi even at a targeted small area like these was an arrogant claim that will earn a person a laugh at their face. Which is exactly what I got, as this man chuckled at me.

His chuckle was as sweet sounding as his voice when he spoke, very tingling to my pussy.

"Then I'll take the bet," he said with a self-assured tone. I found that quality attractive in a man.

Closing my eyes, I breathed in and out, cleared my mind of all meaningless thoughts whilst activating my Innate technique—loved by qi, and specifically targeted only the water qi, even though I knew I could simultaneously gather all types of Qi at the same.

The moment the scattered water Qi touched my body, my eyes opened in surprise for what happened after.
