It seemed that abilities from his class did not show up here. After all, only his system showed this much information. A normal person's status window would be like this.

That's it.

As for the value of stats, Kaiden's numbers were great. The effort he put in during the past month showed. The average adult male had 10 in the four physical ones, and the average woman had 8. The record for the highest stat as a level 1 was held by a Russian strongman who awakened as an adult. He had 18 Vitality, 19 Strength, 8 Agility, and 14 Endurance. Thus, 19 was thought to be the peak non-awakened physical stat one could earn through sheer effort.

The fact that Kaiden had 12 in two and 11 in two other stats showed that he was way above average, which showed in his almost supernaturally quickly growing muscles.

With their meal concluded and their excitement over the otherworldly happenings that went down one after the other in rapid succession slowly dwindling, they decided to leave the sushi restaurant.

Nyx and Luna wanted to move into his little dorm room, while Aria would come later due to her responsibilities at her home.

To that end, the pink-haired girl went home to pack her things and notify the landlord that she would be moving out.

Luna rightfully despised her brother, so she wanted to wait until he was out on a dungeon clear in a few days to move her stuff, so she would be staying in his dorm already.

However, instead of staying with her, Kaiden decided to accompany Aria to her home after receiving her permission. He was most worried about his silver-haired girlfriend since he didn't know much about her situation. It was time to change that.

The pair called a ride and soon found themselves on the way to their destination.

"Sorry for barging into your home like this," Kaiden broke the silence with a sincere apology.

Aria glanced at him surprisedly, blinked rapidly in clear confusion, and then realized that her silence made him think she didn't want him here. "N-no, not at all! I'm glad that you are coming with me, Kai! It's just I was daydreaming."

"About?"

"… I have a boyfriend now!" she revealed the secret she'd been mulling about in the past few minutes with an energetic cheer.

"You don't say?!" Kaiden shouted sarcastically. "Who is the lucky guy? I'll beat him up, he is too fortunate for his own good."

"…" The silver-haired bombshell pouted adorably as she puffed her cheeks and refused to meet his gaze. "You're poking fun at me."

"I wouldn't dare."

"Hmph…!"

The rest of the ride was spent with Kaiden trying to lessen his gorgeous girlfriend's heavy pouting. He was successful in the end, but it took a good five minutes of concentrated effort.

He did have a strong suspicion tugging in the back of his mind that Aria was only pretending to be angry with him so that she could enjoy the way he pampered her with rosy words, but he happily accommodated her needs without complaints or accusations.

Once they stepped out of the vehicle, Kaiden couldn't help but frown. They'd arrived at a horribly downtrodden part of the city.

Just from a single glance, he could count a dozen homeless bums sitting in the shades offered by the various homes while some were rummaging through garbage bins in search of leftovers.

The homes themselves were also heavily in desperate need of renovation, but he could guess that a fancy home was the least of the worries of the people living here.

"It's not a place to live as a young, attractive woman, Aria. We should be thankful that you weren't assaulted already."

To his surprise, Aria began giggling. "Hehehe... Your golden spoon is showing, young master. In places like this, people are always watching, so committing such a high-profile crime is a rarity. However, you must know exactly where you can and can't be. The main street is safe, especially since police patrol this road constantly. During the night you can even ask them to escort you to your home, that's what I've been doing. I do seriously appreciate you worrying about me, though! It's very sweet."

Aria finished her answer by firmly squeezing his hand to reinforce the truth of how much she appreciated him worrying about her. Kaiden didn't like being labeled as a rich brat, but he knew very well that he was out of his element here. If a native to this part of town said so, who was he to argue?

"Here we are…" Aria revealed a minute or so later. Her tone was low, hushed. It didn't take a genius to pick up on the fact that she was ashamed to be living where she did.

Kaiden would never think badly of her for such a reason, but he understood why she wasn't keen on showing off her home to her newly acquired boyfriend. To say that it was in rough condition would be putting it gently. That's like saying Vespera wasn't a control freak—an outrageous lie.

Its peeling paint, boarded-up windows, and crumbling brickwork told tales of decades of neglect. Trash bins sat next to the door, and the crumbling pathway leading to her door was littered with scattered garbage and broken bottles.

It wasn't a family home but something like a crack den, or so Kaiden thought.

His first impression deepened his unease upon gaining entry. The floors were worn, with visible dust collecting everywhere, while the old furniture and dirty walls articulated the severity of her situation. A single bare bulb swung from the ceiling, which rather reluctantly lit up a few seconds after Aria flipped the switch.

Seeing his wry expression, Aria began pleading with a begging tone. "I'm not a lazy girl; please don't think that, Kai! It's just that I never had the energy to clean after finishing work, and in the last few days, I was in deep depression due to the upcoming filming." The girl was very anxious about what kind of opinion he would form of her upon seeing this sad, depressing sight.

Kaiden shook his head gently. "Don't worry about it, Aria. Where are your siblings? I wanna introduce myself, and then we could clean up together if you're down."

"Brother went out to sell weed," A third, high-pitched feminine voice spoke up suddenly.
