Almost everyone instinctively turned their eyes toward the sky in the distance.

Akainu!
The power displayed by these two monsters was utterly terrifying!
BOOM!
With a thunderous crash, Akainu and Uchiha Madara both landed on a warship, their feet smashing through the deck beneath them.
Even though Uchiha Madara had come alone, he radiated the aura of a man who could stand against thousands. One person, yet with the might of an entire army.
So overwhelming. So terrifying.
He was so powerful that, despite their numbers, none of the Marine soldiers dared to make a move. Deep down, they all felt it—facing a legendary existence like Uchiha Madara was something far beyond their reach.
And since it was impossible to win… why throw their lives away for nothing?
Some soldiers even found themselves retreating, stepping back in fear of drawing the attention of the beast named Uchiha Madara.
But could they really be blamed? Who wouldn't fear such a monster?
After half an hour of fierce battle, Akainu was gasping for breath. His once-overflowing stamina had been reduced to a mere 20–30% of his strength.
Worse, the constant overuse of his Devil Fruit powers had left his mind hazy, his body swaying as though he might collapse at any moment.
The anger that once fueled him… was gone.
In its place were only admiration—and fear.
Akainu had to admit it. In all his life, he had never encountered a master of fire like this man before.
Even the Mera Mera no Mi paled in comparison to his own Magma-Magma Fruit… yet here was someone whose flames rivaled and surpassed them.
The man before him, Uchiha Madara, was no ordinary human.
He clearly wasn't using a Devil Fruit. And yet his power was comparable to, if not greater than, one.
Akainu had long known that the Kamui Pirates were filled with mysterious figures wielding unfathomable powers… but seeing it with his own eyes today was still beyond belief.
"Tell me," Akainu demanded hoarsely. "How did you gain this power? Are you even human… or are you from the legendary Lunarian race that wields unnatural abilities?"
That was the only explanation Akainu could think of. Perhaps the entire Kamui Pirates, including Captain Kronos, weren't human at all.
Otherwise… how could any of this be real?
"I am very much human."
Uchiha Madara smirked confidently, then continued:
"But I can tell you this—Devil Fruits are not the only source of power in this world. There exist other abilities far beyond your understanding."
He raised his hand, flames swirling around his fingers.
"The power I wield… has a name."
"Ninjutsu."
Every word slammed into Akainu's heart like a hammer.
Ninjutsu?
The name stirred something in his memory.
Wait—yes!
Wano Country!
"Are you from Wano?!" Akainu blurted out in shock.
The surrounding Marines were stunned as well, each of them staring wide-eyed at Uchiha Madara as though he were some otherworldly being.
