Everyone was clearly a little surprised by Uchiha Madara's unexpected statement.
There was even someone who felt Madara's behavior wasn't like him at all.
And who else could that person be?
Of course, Senju Hashirama, the one with a "special connection" to Uchiha Madara!
Hashirama's eyes widened as he spoke in disbelief.
"Madara, this isn't like you! Aren't you the guy who's always looking for a fight? Why don't you plan on taking action this time?"
"You're not a fake, are you?"
Uchiha Madara was so angry he nearly fought Hashirama right there. He didn't expect his old rival to insult him like that—calling him a fake?
Wasn't that basically calling him a coward?
"Senju Hashirama!"
Madara shouted, rolling up his sleeves. "I think you're in desperate need of a beating! Fine then, I'll teach you a lesson right now!"
Hashirama, unfazed, also rolled up his sleeves and smiled. "You think I'm scared of you? If you want to fight, let's fight! Who's afraid of who?"
Even with enemies directly ahead of them, these two old rivals were ready to throw down, as if nothing else mattered.
Kronos was dumbfounded, feeling like there was no way to control the two of them.
He couldn't help but admit it: Hashirama and Madara were like two living treasures—bickering every day and always ready to fight.
But thinking about it, it made sense. After all, in their original world, they had always been bitter enemies.
Arguing was normal. Fighting was even more expected.
"What are you two doing? The enemy's right in front of us, and you're here arguing like children!"
Albedo scolded angrily.
Illya and the others just looked helpless. They were used to it by now. That's how those two always were—quarreling nonstop, fighting whenever possible.
Unlike Madara, Gojo Satoru actually wanted to fight. Scratching his head, he turned to Kronos and said, "Captain, why don't I handle this?"
"I really think..."
"Those guys..."
"Look pretty fun."
As he said the last sentence, a playful grin appeared at the corner of Gojo's mouth.
Anyone familiar with Gojo Satoru could easily guess what he was thinking.
Obviously, he saw Katakuri and the others as nothing more than toys.
If Katakuri knew Gojo looked down on him that much, who knows if he'd drop dead from anger right there.
Kronos thought for a moment, then nodded slightly.
"Alright. Go."
As soon as he spoke—
Swish!
Swish!
Two figures vanished from the deck.
One was Gojo Satoru.
The other was Pain.
Kronos looked into the distance, a playful smile tugging at his lips.
From the moment Katakuri had recognized them, Kronos had long since known who was coming. His Observation Haki, which surpassed all others, had identified Katakuri and his fleet even earlier than anyone else.
Not only did he know they were from the Charlotte Family—
He also knew exactly who was on those ships.
From Katakuri to the other elite commanders...
Kronos had already figured it all out.
